Stopped by Ginti with colleagues during a business trip to Cologne, and it was an absolutely wonderful surprise. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. Every single dish we tried was truly amazing; authentic, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The prices are very reasonable, offering fantastic value for the quality. The restaurant itself is spacious and easily accommodated our large group without feeling cramped. The decor is authentic and on-point, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. To top it all off, the waitstaff were incredibly friendly and attentive.

It was my first time but definitely not the last time having dinner at this amazing place. The waiter was incredibly welcoming, friendly and we loved his recommendations. Great selection of dishes, also a lot of vegan
options available -which was important to me. The food was very tasty and the garlic naan was amazing, super fluffy and crispy at the same time -really the best with had in a while!

Ginti is an Indian restaurant in Köln that delivers very good food overall. The flavors were bold well seasoned and satisfying and the dishes tasted freshly prepared. From a food quality perspective it definitely stands out and is a place I would normally be happy to return to.
The restaurant itself is spacious and comfortable with plenty of room between tables which makes dining feel relaxed rather than cramped. Service was generally good and the staff was attentive and polite throughout the meal.
One downside was that the restaurant felt a bit too warm which made the experience slightly less comfortable especially while eating hot dishes. The bigger issue however was that the server repeatedly had a finger in or directly touching the food while serving. That was uncomfortable to see and definitely not ideal from a hygiene standpoint.
That said the food was genuinely so good that I still ate it and enjoyed the meal despite that concern. Overall Ginti has excellent food and a nice space but the serving practices could use improvement to match the quality of the cooking.

While traveling in Cologne, I was looking for Indian food and visited ‘Ginti Indian Restaurant’. It was a place I found by chance, and upon entering the restaurant, I could feel a traditional Indian atmosphere.
My friend and I ordered four items: Chicken Tikka Masala and Lamb Tikka Masala, along with Garlic Naan and Butter Naan. The dishes captured traditional Indian flavors well. The curries had a good spice aroma and tasted delicious with the freshly baked, warm Naan breads. We had a filling and satisfying time eating together with my friend.
If I visit Cologne again in the future, I would like to revisit ‘Ginti Indian Restaurant’ and try other dishes. It seems like a good option for those looking for Indian food in Cologne.
