I’ve come here a few times. 1st time I had the Chicken parm and the 2nd time I had spaghetti. Homemade food, Large portions. Good for an adult family gathering or date night. Not so much for kids. I ordered my son “kids” tenders and it came with like 7 pieces, no side. The bread they bring out is Amazing!

It was ok. The bread basket alone is worth going back.
The portions were very large, worth what you will pay. I think the disconnect was personal tastes. The spaghetti and meatballs were served with thin spaghetti, or linguine and the sauce was very sweet.
The alfredo sauce was very bland.
The pizza flat bread was very good. We enjoyed.
I would say, it is definitely worth another try.

Just had dinner and was greeted immediately with a wonderful smile and welcome by Heather M. Our wine and apps came out supper fast. And I forgot to mention there was no wait this evening. I loved the potion size of my lasagna and I really loved that is wasn’t just cheese and noodles type taste! It was legit seasoned and came with ground beef, Italian sausage, spinach, mozzarella and ricotta! Mouth and tongue were doing the HAPPY DANCE! Thennnnnn the BREAD….. If you love soft marshmellowie garlic Parmesan type bread (Doughie) then look no further! It’s a Gift from the Italian GODs ❤️

We found this place while out shopping in North Tampa… it came highly recommended by 6 different people where we were shopping. The portions are HUGE. Be hungry. The garlic bread they bring while you are waiting sets the tone for all of the yumminess to follow. Tons of choices in the bar too… you will not be disappointed… The service is quick and extremely welcoming!!

The fried calamari is great & I had the seafood fra’diavlo. Their house bread is more addictive than the biscuits at Red Lobster & taste 100x better. The waitresses that I’ve dealt with have the best attitudes & are super sweet, so tip them well. I’ve never had the pizza, but I bet it’s good because their marinara sauce is great. So go there and treat yourself to a nice meal or bring the family & splurge on a good time with food & drinks. Great place. I’m a native of Long Island New York & this place can hang with the flavors & ambiance.

This place is a hidden gem. It looks very small on the outside but it’s huge inside! First time here and the food was PERFECT. Like everything was cooked great just how we asked and it tasted amazing! Everything tasted fresh and really well made. THE BREAD at the beginning is out of this world, baked to perfection. Big portions for the food, even the sides! Fairly priced, which is great for Italian food. Great service,everyone is friendly and attentive. We got a bit of everything to try the entrees and they were ALL amazing. We got the Mama Mary’s meatloaf with garlic mashed potatoes,Cesar salad, grilled chicken salad,fried ravioli bites,chicken/steak fettuccine,pizza and spaghetti!! Best italian restaurant in Tampa!!

I must say, the food at GINO’s Restaurant & Bar exceeded all expectations. It was a true 10/10 experience, and we were pleasantly surprised by the authenticity of the Italian cuisine. We took advantage of the Tuesday wine special, with glasses priced at $5 each. Additionally, we ordered a kids’ pasta, which was surprisingly generous in size. All the main courses we tried were equally impressive, and the option to add a Caesar salad for an extra $5 or the soup of the day for $4 was a nice touch. We sampled the lasagna, pasta zitti, and jumbo ravioli, all of which came with delicious bread on the side. The portions were so generous that we couldn’t finish everything on our plates.
Considering the quantity and quality of the food, as well as the inclusion of a glass of wine, the price per person was incredibly reasonable, coming in at under $25. This is exceptional value for money, especially for authentic Italian cuisine.
Overall, GINO’s Restaurant & Bar is a place we will definitely be returning to. It truly transported us to Italy with its authentic flavors and generous portions. If you’re in the area, this is a must-try dining destination.

Dear Gino’s on Saturday, March 22,2025 4 of us came in at the request of our friend. My guy had the mixed platter. I ordered fettuccine Alfredo with blackened shrimp.
We would never embarrass our friend by complaining about our meals.
Fettuccine Alfredo should not be swimming in sauce and the sauce is not a flour gravy. I couldn’t find the pasta. I have included in the pictures what it should look like and a best of recipe. Not to be insulting but to help.
My guy only ate his chicken parm. He said it was the worst Italian he has had.
We had hoped to return later that week in person with the food taken home but life got crazy.
We hope you will re-evaluate what you are serving to help improve business.
