This was my first time at this Pizzeria and it was amazing. It was relaxing, had a bar to accommodate the celebration I was having and the food was amazing. The owner made us a heart pizza because we were just married and it meant a lot that he took the time to add a special touch for us. The pizza was DELICIOUS! Definitely check them out. I promise you and your appetite will be pleased!

They guys were very friendly. As soon as I walked it I was greated warmly and placed my order pretty quick. The shop has a very cozy old school feel. Now for what really matters. THE PIZZA. it was a very tasty new your style slices. The crust and undercarriage where perfect. And it was a beautiful looking pie

This is a decent spot to grab some pizza for lunch. The interior is spacious, with a relaxed vibe, and they even have a small ATM machine and an outside eating option. The menu offers a variety of options, from classic pizzas to pasta dishes. However, be aware that they don’t serve tap water—you’ll need to purchase bottled water—and there’s a surcharge for using a credit card. Additionally, the TVs were tuned to Fox News, which might not appeal to everyone.
The medium pizza, impressive in size and packed with flavor, was a definite highlight of the meal. My little one enjoyed the kid’s spaghetti, and I appreciated that they provided a high chair.
That said, the restaurant lacked dedicated parking, and the staffing seemed insufficient to handle the lunchtime crowd efficiently. While the food was good, the overall environment left something to be desired. Due to these factors, I’m unlikely to return, despite the quality of the meal.

Great little locally owned pizzeria. Owner is often in and behind the counter making customers feel welcomed and at home. Food is delicious and very reasonably priced.

The stromboli & calzone were delicious with a flavorful garlic cheese topping! The pizza slices received rave reviews from the always fussy eater kiddos. We came during the Saturday lull, around 4 for a super early dinner. It was the perfect time for us with a cranky toddler so we didn’t disturb other dinners! Do wish they had fountain soda though.

Debra went to pick up a large cheese pizza at Gino’s Pizzeria in downtown Portsmouth. They told her it would be ready in 20 minutes, so she returned on time. When she walked in, the music was blasting extremely loud, and there was no one at the counter. She waited about 5–8 minutes before anyone came out from the back. The employee smelled strongly of cigarettes, which was unpleasant.
Given the loud music and no staff up front, it didn’t feel very safe or professional, especially with no other customers in the store.
When she opened the pizza box, the pizza was completely burned. She pointed it out, and the employee agreed and remade it. She wasn’t rude, but there was no apology or offer for the inconvenience (not even a drink or discount), which would have gone a long way.
Between the long wait, the burned pizza, the smell of cigarettes, and the overall atmosphere, the experience was disappointing.

I will start by saying the pizza was good, though it was not exceptional. However, the service was disappointing and did not align with the positive comments I had read—in fact, I felt I was inconveniencing the staff.
I went directly to the bar to order two small pizzas because I had two hungry children and did not want to wait for table service; we then sat down. After the pizzas were delivered, no one returned to our table to check on us or ask if we needed anything else. I had to get up and search for a staff member just to ask for water. I requested two cups, and one of them unfortunately had a noticeable smudge or residue at the bottom, which one of the kids immediately pointed out.
I had to get up again to find someone and request the check, as I could not see any staff nearby. When I paid and asked for a box to take our leftovers—which amounted to almost one full pizza—I received no help with packaging it, despite there being time for assistance while I took one of thr children to the restroom.
Lastly, I think the total price of $45 for two small pizzas (one Chicken, one Margherita wich is just tomato and spices) and one bottle of water is quite pricey for the overall experience and quality. I don’t know if I went on a day they were short of stuff or somethings going on but didnhave a good experience.

GINO’S SCORES 0 in customer service. It sucks to have a bad customer service experience!!!! When I called to ask about specials I was told to look online. I ordered online via Slice app and I unfortunately had to cancel, so I sent a message in the app to cancel. By the time someone had connected with me on the app, they informed me it was too late to cancel because the food was already made. I ordered a cannoli and 16 inch pizza .When I contacted the store to explain what happened and ask for a refund, I was told to contact Slice – so I went back-and-forth and ended up not getting a refund. Do better. Gino’s did not lose any money over that transaction BUT they did lose more $$$ by losing a customer for life.

Ordered delivery, I decided to try a new place, and I have been craving a brick oven pizza. Pizza is definitely one of my favorite foods, and I was highly impressed! It was very tasty and cooked perfectly! I can’t wait to try their stuffed pizza next! Good Job guys! I’m glad to have this diamond in a rough! Definitely worth it to check them out!

Came for 2 slices of cheese pizza. Tells me I get a soda for $6.??? I didn’t want the soda, he urges me to take it cause it’s free. Slices are $2.25 a piece and the special is $4.99 with soda if you pay cash, yet he quoted me over $6 (I paid in cash). Upon receiving my pizza, I asked if I could a fresh one and his response was it’s fresh. I know a reheated pizza when I see one. Parts of the pizza is cold so if this is fresh that’s outrageous. Cheese stiff as could be no pull at all. I’m still standing there and he moves on to the next customer, I won’t be back. Horrendous customer service and food quality is poor.
