This Gino’s location is the best I’ve ever had and we have ate at many through West Virginia. And I am here to tell you that our food is always fresh and hot and made the way we like! We started out going once a month on the two for Tuesdays we are now going at least once a week because it’s a meal I don’t have to cook and I know it will be perfect. But the biggest enjoyment we get is seeing Terry. Although she’s busy all the time when I get there, she always takes the time to see how we’re doing and often bringing it to my vehicle because I’m having hip difficulty. She is very much appreciated and I feel really makes this location!! We ordered a few days ago pizza was hot and I could tell she made it for us. I wanted to leave this review because I’m getting ready to order Gino’s and so should you. You may have had bad experiences at other Gino’s as well as I have but you need to give them a chance amazing hot beautiful food! I’m going to have pizza! Getting ready to talk to Terry! ❤️

First time I ordered take out the food was okay, pizza was a bit greasy, but otherwise had a decent flavor. Seconded time inordered take out I ordered naked wings with buffalo sauce, boneless wings with buffalo sauce on the side, a pizza and cheese bread. The pizza had almost no sauces, they did not give me the buffalo sauce on the side for the boneless wings, the naked wings were breaded instead of naked and were very soggy. They were dead the first time I ordered and semi busy the second time I ordered, probably wont be ordering from here anymore.

It was cold sitting inside to eat, had to keep your coat on. Service was slow on pizza, and when it got done it was placed out front under heat lamps and they didn’t call out. You had to go look and hope you weren’t getting someone elses food! It will probably be another 6 or 7 months before we go back, theres better pizza places in Ripley!

Late Monday evening (9 pm) meal. We were the only ones dining in, one call in order was picked up while we were there.
Subpar pizza, lower quality than store brand frozen pizza; a sentiment echoed by our twin 10 year old granddaughters.
“Deluxe pizza” – couldn’t find mushrooms, only found 1-3 tiny onions, banana peppers overwhelmed everything, sauce to topping ratio way off… toppings slid off after a bite or two. Little to no meat, least amount of topping on a pizza we’ve bought from a pizza restaurant or even a frozen pizza.
“Meat pizza” – ham appeared and tasted like cheap lunch meat, stacks of ham not separated, minimal amount of other meats (only found 2-3 slices of pepperoni), sausage tasted off, and like the deluxe the sauce to topping ratio was way off. Also, like the deluxe the amount of toppings was lacking.
Clean restaurant, pizza came out very hot, and the front counter employee was very hard working for positive points. On the negative side; restaurant felt like there was no AC, no trash can inside for customer use, and one gentleman in back was easily heard saying lots of junk that shouldn’t expressed in the workplace particularly if customers can hear it (politics, religion, and even more fun stuff the 45 minutes we were there).
Second visit, same as first visit… no pepperoni rolls available. Finally, prices not posted and the subpar pizza turned out to be quite pricey for the abysmal quality.

Delicious pizza and cozy vibes!
Stopped by Gino’s on a road trip and was seriously impressed. The pizza crust was perfectly crisp on the outside and soft inside—just the way it should be. We ordered the pepperoni and the deluxe, and both were loaded with flavor and generous toppings.
Service was fast and super friendly, and the whole place has that classic, small-town Italian charm. You can tell they’ve been doing this for years—and doing it right.
Pro tip: Grab a booth by the window and don’t skip the garlic bread. You’ll thank me later!

I found myself in The Great Mountain state twice in a week. I saw a sign for the Limited Time cheeseburger pubwich on my first trip but they weren’t open. I had experience with a ham and cheese pubwich years ago at the Beckley location and it was good. When I was back a week later I knew I had to have one of these. I was in a hurry and this does take awhile to make. It’s also not for car eating but this is one fine sandwich. It is huge! If I were them I’d put this on the regular menu. They have some covered outdoor seating. Small parking lot. Nice inside space.

I placed an on line order to be ready for pick-up at 4:00pm, I even called an verified that they received the order and that it was set to be done at 4:00 pm. When I arrive at the ripley ginos I was greeted by the staff, was asked my name and was told my order was not ready yet, I said that was fine I did not care to wait a few extra minutes, after 20 minutes of waiting I was told my order was still not ready, then after waiting another 20 minutes my order was still not ready, thats when I became upset, asked to speech with a manager, a nice lady by the name of April came to the counter I explained what was going on an that I wanted my money back because I was tired of waiting for an order that should have been done at 4 pm. At that time the cook named Tyler heard me saying I was upset and not happy he then proceeds to yell at me from the back telling me that I was stupid and ignorant for ordering food earlier in the day to be ready at 4 pm, he then went on to say next time he saw my name on an order he was going to go ahead and fix it and let it sit for 3-4 hours an that I could eat the food cold. He very rude and does not need to be working with the public, April kindly gave me a full refund, I explained to her that we love the food there but absolutely will not be back due to the actions of one person, Tyler.

Calzones are terrible. It’s like they just put the ingredients and threw them in there and didn’t even cook them all the way, super greasy and no napkins.

This is the 2nd time trying Gino’s, the first time was in Point Pleasant a year ago, it was great there. This location was very good as well. The staff were very nice and helpful with our order. It was brought out to us very quickly and tasted really good. The garlic bread was really good, it was seasoned and buttered just right. If or when I visit the area again, I will definitely stop by here again.
