I love this place. Randomly walked in one day. Great pizza and sandwiches. And I love the Fried Calamari so crispy.
Order by the slice or hey a whole pie.

Been here a few time now. Normally it’s quite pleasant, however it’s was significantly worst today. We order two New York Strip steak, one medium and one medium rare. Both were burnt to different degrees on the surface. The medium rare were fine, you can taste the bitterness of the burn surface but it is still edible. However for the medium one it was burnt to the point where all you can taste is the bitterness in every bite. We sent it back and I think that was what cause server to be so hostile. When we sent it back she responded with something along the line of it’s the glaze that cause the taste, and it’s not for everyone. Which we think is just bullshit to make us think we’re the issue.

When the one they remade were bring to table. She said it’s made without the glaze. However not only was it not to the wellness we requested it is also burned. We didn’t want to make a scene and it’s a shop we really liked, so when the server ask was it better, we said it’s fine. Even though it has the same exact issue with last time. This time even worst because it is served without the “glaze.”

We are not having a good experience at that point but we were still able to brush it off since it not like the end of the world to be served burned food. What really disgusted us was when the recipe was brought to us. There was a 12 dollar mandatory tips added to the that mediums steak we ordered. Not to the whole bill just to that steak. The server said it is placed on all meal pass 50 dollar. Which we both took it as a lie. Since not only is it not displayed anywhere it is also not present for our past orders.

We decided to be a better person and pay the bill, but I think we’re probably not gonna go back anymore.

Have visited Gino’s many times over the years ,tonight I ordered the Veal Chop with tomatoes broccoli rabe covered in melted provolone. Have to say it was the best meal I’ve ever ordered from Gino’s great job to the crew in the back of the house. And our waitress A+

The Tomato tie may be the best tomato pizza I have ever eaten. Really really good food all around. The fries can be a little soggy so just make sure you get them well done and they will be good to go. But this place is aces and highly recommended

Tomato pie was phenomenal. Caesar salad was really good and raviolis were amazing. Cheesecake was delicious. Perfect family restaurant and can’t wait to try everything else on the menu.

Today I ordered The Flounder FRANCESE. The flounder was oh so good, and it melted in my mouth. I had enough for leftovers for diner, and again the flounder just melted in my mouth.

There were three big pieces of fish, strings, and potatoes. My only complaint was there could have been more potatoes.

The price I paid was awesome, and for the meals was great price for the money.

I will definitely order this flounder again. I highly recommend it

Thank you.

This place doesn’t need a review. In fact I’m dissapointed at myself for not finding Gino’s sooner.

If you’re from the NE, then you already know that’s there’s a pizza shop on every corner for every palate and at every price point.

We were in the mood for pizza one week and decided to give Gino’s a try. A little time has past since we had pizza and I was watching food reviews all night so now it was 9pm and I was really craving a slice. I made a call and 15 minutes later my pie was ready for pickup.

First impressions…beautiful looking pie. I love the blisters on the crust and cheese. I ordered both mushrooms and sausage and there are ample toppings on the pie. Nice quality cheese with good amount of grease and plenty of pull with a little chew..which is how I like it. The sauce really shines, saucy with tomato flavor and finishes slightly sweet. The dough is slightly sweet with some nice air pockets. Not too doughy but with just the right amount of weight to hold a slice together.

Service was fast and friendly and accurate. It’s been 2 weeks and I’ve had pizza from these guys 4 times…(we usually only have pizza once a month at the most) already having also tried their wings and onion rings

Pie with 2 toppings $15. Pro tip: Ask for thin crust and pepperoni.

When people talk about a small family style eatery, Gino’s is what they are looking for. It is the kind of place where the staff remembers you and jokes with you! My uncle brought me here a few months back, now I make at least one visit every time we come to Philly. (Tonight was our 2nd visit this week!) The menu has nice variety of classic dishes, pizza and specials. I have not had a bad meal yet. This time was the sword fish with risotto. Perfectly grilled fish with shrimp and asparagus risotto. Every bite was full of flavor. My husband devoured the Pescatore! We also love their carafes of house wine! Don’t forget dessert! The Lemoncello marscopone cake caps a great meal. I rarely post food photos, but Ginos deserves that!

Would like to start out saying service was great. We had a large order and everything came out perfectly. I had fries and a pepperoni pizza steak. Steak was full of meat but there wasn’t very much pepperoni on it. Good size order of fries which were nice and crispy.

Gino’s is our favorite place to order from and eat in. By far the best penne vodka with grilled chicken we have ever had. We try it everywhere, and nowhere compares to Ginos! Consistent, Affordable, Delicious!
