First time here in Galveston and wanted some good pasta! We had the Spaghetti with meatballs and chicken fettuccine Alfredo! Both had so much sauce which was amazing. The chicken with the fettuccine is breaded vs grilled, but still very good. The garlic bread had fresh oregano on top which one of us loved, but the other felt it was a bit strong but loved the fresh garlic that was on it! Delicious!! Would come back for sure!!!

11/15/2025: We ordered delivery to our beach house after a long day of remodeling, cleaning, and shopping. We were hungry! The service was good, but the prices were high for the pizza quality. We had wanted Mario’s, but they weren’t delivering when we called. We missed their delivery window by 13 minutes, which was a bummer!
Gino’s pizza was lacking marinara sauce and cheese, which are the most important ingredients, besides the crust. They talked us into purchasing an additional pizza for $7 more. I must say, the pizzas are quite large, so having the extra one for us was a waste. I can see where it would be a good value for a large family of children with underdeveloped taste palettes. We spent way too much money on pizza we ended up throwing away. Very disappointed. We won’t be ordering from Gino’s again.

Great food! Casual and cozy Italian place. Appreciated the more authentic Italian dishes. Everything was tasty. Very friendly and attentive service. Free parking lot. Good location. Would come back!

FOOD – excellent and flavorful! By far, the best Italian restaurant! My family and I each tried a different entrée and were not disappointed. SERVICE – Very welcoming and friendly! They definitely are proud of where they work, have celebrated their 50 years Anniversary and are family owned. ATMOSPHERE – plenty of seating areas for individuals or groups and a very clean restaurant. Definitely a 5 star restaurant and highly recommend, especially those visiting.

Their food is really good, try their Philly Cheese sandwiches and you may want to share because it’s big. The pizza’s are also great. My husband likes their lasagna and chicken parmesan. Service is usually spot on but I think ours was having a bad day.

My first visit, the chicken parmesan was amazing. The service was great.
My next visit, the spaghetti and meat sauce was overpowered by a spice i couldn’t identify. But i totally waited on myself. The waitress spent the whole time, literally the whole time in the kitchen. Never saw her until she gave me the check. Still I gave her a 22% tip. Should have asked her for a tip. Will definitely go back and try other dishes.

I’ve been coming to Gino’s for years. It’s my go-to place anytime I visit Galveston.
They have some of the best tasting sauces, whether it’s their alfredo, lasagna, or pizza it always tastes so good. The portions are generous, and I’m never disappointed.

Robert is the waiter and he is absolutely wonderful. Saves and feeds the local homeless population and was just a delight.
