I had heard that Gino’s Italian Deli is a good place to get a decent old school Italian sub . I happened to be running errands in the neighborhood and I stopped in.
Quick service from the staff that did a good job . It a lot of people in the store but I was early for lunch .
Menu is straightforward and very basic no frills . I got the Italian roast beef sandwich and a bag of chips . Cannot complain it was good basic sandwich but not something unusual.
Will be back if I am ever in the neighborhood again .

Always a pleasure coming in. Great food, especially love the Cajun Chicken Salad and Meatball Sandwich. Staff is always friendly and cracking jokes.

I stopped here for a quick sandwich and was extremely happy to find a mom and pop business that’s been here for over 40 years!
Fresh olive oil and peppers, spicy salami.
The number eight, which is their spicy Italian sandwich, was fantastic !
I wish there were more little places like this around the country. What a refreshing treat to enjoy this family business!

Not sure about all the hype. Stopped by because someone told me it was good. I guess it qualifies, until you’ve been to a deli. No pickles, no chicken parm, not really anything special, kind of generic. I ordered the turkey & artichoke on asiago roll no cucumbers. Not a complex sandwich. It came with SUPER sweet Italian dressing only, no other condiments, tomato, artichoke hearts, turkey and you guessed it….. cucumbers. I dislike the flavor and when they are put on something I can taste them. So… yeah. The asiago roll was decent, portions were lacking and the extra sweet Italian dressing I guess was supposed to be the Italian part. It tasted OK, so I left 3☆’s.

I hadn’t been here in a while, but was looking for a good take home and bake lasagna. Where better in the Madison area than Gino’s Deli? Bought a big pan and the family loved it, of course. Grabbed a bag of premade soft bread sticks, and a plastic tub of Gino’s spaghetti sauce. Dinner for five before the holidays. Delicious.

Adorable little Italian deli right off the highway. Getting to it may be a bit tricky so pay attention to where it is located and the necessary off ramp to take, plus take into consideration any road construction going on. There is parking and entrances at both the front and back of the building. The decor inside is cute, with some seating for dining. It doesn’t look like there is table service, so basically order at the counter and sit down and eat. Sandwich prices are reasonable. My sandwich was good, but not stellar. I felt it was a bit dry and could have used more meat and cheese.
They also have frozen Italian dishes to take and bake as well as a few Italian grocery offerings. Employees were polite and provided good customer service.
If you deem this review helpful, please give it a like. Thank you.

As the kids say, NO CAP, this is the best deli on the west side! There’s a reason for the 4,7 stars ( should be 5 in my opinion). The service here is prompt and courteous. The folks here are always willing to offer insight and great suggestions. And the food is INCREDIBLE! I love all of their pasta dishes and their sandwiches make my day! Look no further because THIS is the place to eat/shop for Italian goods!

Hands-down, the best meat lasagna I’ve ever had. Total crowd pleaser in my home. My boyfriend could not get enough and I’m a pretty picky lasagna eater, and this was outstanding. They also have the best subs and the best selection of salads.
