Got a gift card from work for Gino’s. I had never been, but figured it would be a nice treat for me and my best friend who is visiting from California. BOY WAS I GLAD WE WENT!!!! She is here on a week long trip, and this is the BEST meal we have had by far. As a local, I cannot believe I didn’t know about this place. We ordered the bolognese and spaghetti and meatballs to share. Heaven is an understatement. I’ve been looking for a good italian place in the area, and this. is. it. I also work in a kitchen, so seeing this type of passion and care go into the food is so refreshing. Meatballs were clearly homemade, their pork/beef combo is to die for. Bolognese was out of this world. We couldn’t shut up about it the whole meal or ride home. We were lucky enough to get sat in the seats near the bar where it was quiet and cozy. It was packed when we showed up, but we were sat within 5 minutes. Couldn’t recommend this enough. Gino, you have gained yourself a regular.

My top spot for pasta hands down! ✨
Spaghetti Al Funghi is my forever favorite, I ordered 5 times in row. It’s rich, earthy, and perfectly cooked every single time. My husband’s pick is the Vongole; fresh clams, light broth, and so comforting. Finally tried their Tiramisu today, and wow just the right sweetness, super balanced.
Lovely ambiance, beautiful bar, and the friendliest staff. Definitely one of those places I keep coming back to.

I’ll start by saying you should probably go to A Cena down the road if possible. Never had any issues with a birthday there. There’s always that one time that you happen to be the one sitting there while every other person has their food in front of them and you were the error. Your food wasn’t made. The server is apologizing about how that dish is running behind. I ordered the Funghi Spaghetti, which was actually very tasty and a nice sized portion as you would expect from a nice restaurant. For some reason they came over and gave me an empty bowl I’ll post a picture of it, it was very funny to everyone there. I would usually have my tip reflect the error if something wasn’t done to make me feel like I wasn’t forgotten. The glass of the wine I was drinking comped, maybe a free glass offered, or some other such nicety to make up for the inconvenience. The tip was already included in the price as it was a larger group, or maybe restaurant policy in general. People offering to wait until your food shows up, offering you food from their plates, which I have dietary restrictions against eating right now. Then the inevitable how is your food as they have already finished the quiet that always follows everyone that has already had a chance to share how their meal was. It was an unpleasant experience. Also, if you’re tall and have long legs, your knees won’t fit under some of the tables such as the one we were seated at. Just an extra fun fyi for you.

Best chowder and oysters I had on the Oregon coast. I ate so much seafood on my trip but the clam chowder and oysters I had at Gino’s were the best I had. The chowder had so many clams and they were really big, it was also more creamy than a lot of the other chowder I tried during my trip. The fries were also soooo good, really unique and tasty without being too greasy or fried. I really didn’t like the coleslaw which had a molasses taste, I usually a creamy or vinegar based slaw. Beers were also great and the atmosphere was fun. Go for the oysters and chowder!

I really loved Gino’s. It reminded me of the places I used to go to in Little Italy in Chicago. The service was great. They were always around, but not in your face.
The interior felt very comforting, like your friend’s grandma’s house!
The mussels were good, as was the Ceasar salad, but the meatballs were amazing. I felt like I was a kid again.
The pesto ravioli was not bad. Grandma Jeans pasta dish again reminded me of a friend’s house on Sunday or some small Italian place with a pot just cooking away all day. Pure comfort food.
The Tiramisu was great, but the Panna Cotta was one of the best desserts I’ve had this year. Might be one of the best dishes I’ve had this year… Tiramisu is one of my favorite desserts, but their Panna Cotta almost made me forget it existed! And the Tiramisu is really good!
Oh and the house wine options were delicious!

Delicious food. Really cool old bar in the bar room! Delicious, fresh food! Great location for an intimate dinner or a team gathering to celebrate the past years achievements. Overall, delicious and great drinks. I highly recommend the Irish Coffee and the Gino’s Manhattan!

Busy and packed in this restaurant. It has a big dining capacity with both indoor & outdoor options. On a Tuesday night, we still got on the wait list for 15 mins. But it was worth it as the food was delicious. The restaurant used to be an old travern in town and could use a remodel. But business is too good to be shut down.

Beautifully decorated with a cozy vibe that feels warm and inviting without it being so dark you can’t see your menu. Prices were so reasonable given the size of the portions. Food quality was top tier. Service was attentive without being overwhelming. Felt like we were being well taken care of without too much interruption. Will absolutely be coming back!

Phenomenal. The Cesar salad was perfectly dressed, garlicky, and delicious. We contemplated ordering a second- it was THAT good. The spaghetti Al funghi was also incredible. My husband, who normally dislikes mushrooms, was eating and enjoying every bite!!

Seriously amazing service and the food quality and portion size was spot on Italiano. We had the Italian sandwich for lunch and it was so big and packed full of flavor. Layers of protein with sauces and the bread is to die for.
Phoebe helped us and did a great job. She is very personable and a great server!
Food was brought out quickly and looked like it was magazine ready.
