El Gato Reviews
This place hits the spot every time. Honestly I’m a tough critic but I’ve never had bad pizza or wings here. We go to this location specifically because of the quality of their chicken wings, as most other pizza places are skimping out with cheap chicken that tastes horrible. This place does not sacrifice quality for cost, and you get what you pay for. Pizza and wings are fresh and great, quick and friendly service and always craving this place. Thank you!

Gino & Joe’s Pizza has been known for its hearty, classic pizza offerings, but it seems to struggle with consistency based on recent customer feedback. While the pizza dough is often praised for its texture and chew, the toppings and sauce sometimes fall short of expectations. Some customers have noted that pizzas can be overly greasy, with uneven cheese distribution and a lack of flavor depth in the sauce.

Very good food, and very reputable. Definitely stop here if you’re in town.

First time here and not disappointed. The garlic knots alone were worth it, feel like I should get a dozen to go. Pizza was good, crust was slightly crispy, not too thick, making each bite enjoyable. The staff was friendly, welcomed us upon arrival and answered all my questions. The facility was clean. Look forward to our next visit.

The guy making the pizzas was wearing a tank top … and somehow it didn’t bother me. He looked like he knew what he was doing. The Neapolitan thin-crust pizza was good. Loved the cheese and pepperoni, liked the sauce but wasn’t crazy about the crust. Its consistency reminded me of a dinner roll. My date, however, did like the crust.
I like places that offer fountain drinks, because I can always freshen my soda and dispense ice as desired. Gino & Joe’s scored well in that department.
The fries were superb. You get a great big basket.
The service was nice, too. It’s a neat, well-worn joint just off a busy stretch of road in Clay.

I ordered a pizza on the way home from volunteering and it was close to closing but I got there in time. The gentleman was very friendly and helpful but I asked a question. The pizza was pretty good I just wished they had spread the toppings out a little bit more on the pizza it seems that it was kind of all in the middle. I think most people want the toppings all over the pizza.

The pizza was a disaster. Cut like a kindergartener cut it huge & tiny. Too much sauce, couldn’t eat without a knife & fork. The peppers were horrible. Wasn’t cooked enough either. Ended up tossing the rest of it. However, the fried ravioli that was great!. Won’t bother spending money there again.
