The “Rodolfo” pizza was absolutely incredible – easily the highlight – comes with arugula, prosciutto, tomatoes, and cheese. The dough is extremely thin and light, yet beautifully flavored with the aroma of a wood-fired oven and a hint of charcoal. Truly unforgettable.
Service was fast and efficient. We also loved the house white wine – Falanghina. At only €3.50 per glass, the value is excellent.
It’s easy to understand why this place is recommended by the Michelin Guide.
One small detail we didn’t quite understand – the table next to us, with Italians who ordered almost the same things we did, received a complimentary limoncello with their bill, while we didn’t. At the same time, the waiter hinted that an extra tip beyond the coperto would be appreciated. No hard feelings, but that felt a bit…out of place.
Still, the pizza alone makes this place worth visiting. We would gladly come back.
Absolutely delicious and so different from most pizza interpretations around the world. We tried two different Margheritas, and they were truly distinct — the tomatoes, the cheese, and the flavors were all outstanding, each with its own unique character.
The prices are very reasonable considering the high quality of the food. The white wine was also very good.
A must-visit in Naples. After 19h, especially in weekends there are queues, but during the week, if you go a little bit earlier you might find a table faster.
It was the first pizzeria we went to in Napoli during our trip and we enjoyed all the pizzas we tried – Margherita, Antonio and Umberto.
The dough was of an outstanding quality and all the ingredients were fresh and delicious. The Antonio pizza (with anchovies) stood out in particular.
To drink we had the white wine of the house which complemented the pizza well.
Apart from the pizza, the place itself is quite big and overall nice, but has more of a chain atmosphere, especially compared with other pizzerias we visited later in the city.
Pizza fritte is made right there, very decently priced and so delicious I liked my fingers.
Light, crispy pastry, balanced flavors and ready in under 3 minutes. It did not survive long.
Do visit, highly recommend.
Its a busy place, you have to wait to be seated. But from the first moment at the door, you’re treated very well! ❤️
