I visited Ginkgo Katsu because I had heard from people that their tonkatsu was good. I ordered the fish katsu, and my wife ordered the cheese katsu.
Unfortunately, the fish katsu was very disappointing. The fish fillet was extremely thin and felt like there was very little to eat. For the price, I didn’t think it offered good value at all. Personally, I don’t think I would ever order the fish katsu here again.
The cheese katsu, on the other hand, was decent and more enjoyable, though not outstanding.
As for the overall experience, the interior and the service didn’t feel particularly welcoming or friendly. Nothing was terrible, but it also didn’t leave a good impression.
I’m sorry to say this, but I can’t give this place a generous score. It was a bit disappointing overall, especially given the recommendations I had heard.

We ordered the pork katsu with cheese, absolutely incredible. The Katsu is seasoned incredibly well, cooked perfectly and crispy on the outside. It comes with a Katsu sauce and a dressing for the cabbage. It’s a lot of food, we were able to split this between two people just fine. Would definitely recommend and I’ll be coming back when I’m in the area again!

Delicious bento box. Great array: Takoyaki, California rolls, katsu, rice, lots of pickled veges. Will last you 2 or more meals depending how much you eat. Would make the trip back out!

Chicken Katsu lunch special is really great value. Spicy katsu sauce is the right amount of spice and flavor, and the salad dressing makes the salad pretty good. Taiyaki was made fresh and tasted great. Wish there was an option to buy less Taiyaki though; 5 is a little too much for even two people.

The order could be done online or at the kiosk stand with their touch screen POS.
The food was prepped fresh and made as ordered. Food was prepped within timely manner. The bento was delicious.
The interior is rather simple. The background music is at medium level which you can carry a conversation without yelling at each other.
This small shop deserves its praise. Will visit again. 4.6 out of 5.

Happy to visit this place again! Just started work around here so I can stop by more. Wanted to try the Kimchi Fried Rice and the Shrimp Tempura Roll this time. Love how you can order yourself and how you get your food quickly.
The Bento box is so great, as I love variety and it has all of that.
The kimchi rice is HUGE, and so is the crunch roll!

Pretty good katsu place! Don’t remember this place existing before in this plaza but glad me and my family were able to give it a try. Happy that there was something for everyone in the family. It seems to have Japanese and Korean inspired dishes, as one of the boxes you get some delicious small ban chan, but Japanese small dishes that you typically have with Katsu. I just wish there was more in there ! You can order with them or they have a self serve screen. Note that it isn’t the biggest place so if you have a big party just would plan ahead

Remember that forget do have a yelp check in for a milk tea.
We tried their udon, and two katsu boxes, the chicken katsu and the pork katsu with cheese. One of the boxes also had takoyaki and California rolls. Seems like all the food is served in togo boxes and containers even if you dine in.
Would stop by , if I am in the area and craving for katsu. Food is even good the next day in air fryer. Until next time !
