The food here is fresh cooked and has a great value. They even tell you that food is cooked fresh to order and therefore may take a bit longer. I got a pork tenderloin and it was massive! The burgers are good and so are the onion rings. Overall I highly recommend this place unless you are in need of a super fast meal.

Nice small town cafe/diner. Usually go for breakfast but have had dinner as well. Can’t beat the ham and eggs, comes with hash browns and either a pancake or biscuit & gravy. Great value for the money. Friendly service. This place recently changed ownership and the name has changed, but I’ve been going for years and plan on many more visits.

Sorry, but I just started leaving reviews and forget to take a food photo. The food here was excellent. Ate there today a late lunch/early dinner. Cafe was clean, but some of the tables and booths hadn’t been cleared and cleaned yet. Understandable since everytime I have been by there are always customers there. Signs of good food.y daughter had the brisket dinner and she said the meat was so tender and very tasty. She also ordered the fried dill pickles and they were good, also. I got the chicken fried steak dinner and it was so good. The steak was almost as large as the plate. The fried okra was excellent and the mashed potatoes and white gravy was just as expected with a chicken fried steak dinner. I will definitely be looking forward to returning to this cafe.

We went on a Saturday evening around 7pm. There were only 4 or 5 other tables seated. We got right in and took a seat. The waitress took our drink order almost immediately and came back for our food order quickly. She was kind and did a great job. The restaurant seemed clean. We ordered burgers, one with curly and one with waffle and one with a side salad. The waitress added the toppings to my salad without gloves and I don’t know if she washed her hands. I think she was using tongs but I would have liked to have seen gloves or hand-washing. The salad was your average cafe side salad but the ranch dressing was amazing! The fries were the perfect crispiness and tasted fresh, served hot. The burgers were pretty good. They were served with tomatoes, lettuce, and bread/butter pickles on the side. I’m more of a dill pickle kind of person on my burgers. Overall a good experience and we will return.

I have only been to Gingers one time but the food was delicious. The servers were friendly and very attentive. I had the chicken fried steak and it was a large portion of food. I wish I would have saved room for dessert because they looked very good.

We set for about 15 minutes and were ignored by the waitress. Moved to the other side of the room and were immediately taken care of. I had the fried chicken and it was not anything I would go back for. My wife had the roast beef and it was very good.

The food is good, there is more actual home cooked food like Ham and Beans on Mondays. The breakfast menu is smaller then a lot of places but they do it well. The breakfast prices are very good. The coffee is strong the way I like it some may not like it that way. Like most small time dinners they have their regulars that add atmosphere. The wait staff are fun, again like many small dinners they have unique personalities . If you are on your way to Stockton lake it is a good spot for eating with lots of parking area for those pulling boats or in big RVs.

We are from Texas staying in Ash Grove for a wedding. After reading all the reviews we decided to try Ginger’s. I must say it was wonderful. I got the fried mushrooms with HOMEMADE Ranch. It came out within ten minutes of ordering and was fresh and hot. My husband decided to have breakfast for dinner. He enjoyed his meal as well. I was very pleased with the waitress & the time to get our order & the fact that it was prepared to order.

Food was great and the staff very friendly. The cheeseburger with bacon and homemade onion rings were perfect. My husband had the all you can eat catfish. No complaints. Hats off to the chefs.
