We’ve gone to this place 3 times and the food is different everytime. With Today’s food, its the last time we will be going here. The food was dry and you could tell they rewarmed or refried the food. Skimpy servings. Just not good. So inconsistent. With the price of the meal, we will not be spending our money here again.

The food used to be great and now it’s all flavorless and the rangoons are always empty. I was eating veggie lomein when I felt something in my mouth. I pulled out this piece of metal that could’ve caused damage to my GI system. We will drive farther for Chinese next time!

I’ve ordered here a few times when I was doing my laundry next door. It’s never been great, but is handy in a pinch. Today, I pulled up and parked in front of the restaurant but decided to look at their menu in my car before I went in to order. A few moments later, a woman knocked on my car window and asked if I was planning to eat there. She apparently worked there. I told her I was looking at their menu and planning to order. She pulled out a pad and asked for my order and I told her I wasn’t ready yet, but that I would come inside as soon as I was ready. She muttered something unintelligible and told me that I needed to either order immediately or leave. I felt alienated and devalued as a customer so I told her I didn’t want their food if that’s the way they treat customers. I left, looked at the menu for the sushi place next door, and ordered from them instead. Note to the owners of this restaurant: the way you treat customers MATTERS. You just lost 25 more- me and my whole family and friend group who live in the area will no longer be going to Wild Ginger for our Chinese takeaway. We’ll make the extra drive somewhere else or give our business to other respectful local restaurants who actually value customers.

We should have heeded the multiple 1 star reviews. Food had bad after taste and was moldy.

Would NOT recommend eating here. They charge different prices from the menu, basically whatever they feel like charging, and the portion sizes drastically change from day to day. I ordered a quart of hot and sour soup, and they gave me 2 pints, about 2/3 full each instead of a full Quart container of soup. Plus, they charged more than the menu price because they felt like it. Food is just okay, nothing great. Would not recommend this place at all as the last few times here have been negative experiences.

I literally just had the worst food of my life. I should have walked out when I saw 3 years of cobwebs hanging around the restaurant. The place was disgusting and should be inspected by the health authorities. Worse, the food was terrible. Besides the fact that there was no sauce on the sweet and sour chicken, the rest of the food was completely inedible. Go anywhere else. It isn’t worth eating even if it cost a dollar.

The food has been consistently bad the several times I’ve gotten takeout. I won’t eat here again.
The sweet and sour chicken was dry, crunchy, and tasted burnt. The sesame chicken was tough and chewy. The crab rangoon was stale. The pork fried rice was flavorless and had no carrots or peas, with minimal traces of pork and onion. The rice containers were only about 85% full.
It was a chore to finish my plate and I might just throw the leftovers out rather than suffer through it again. I only hesitate because the food was expensive to boot!

This place actually has Ho Fun (wide noodle)! Wow! It’s so good and so rare to find in restaurants. The Veggie Spring Rolls and Fried Rice are good also. The Chow Fun is good too! It’s similar to Ho Fun but they put different spices into it, including ginger. Yum all the way. It isn’t set up for a “dining in” experience. Might be the result of Covid. It’s designed more for takeout. There are places to sit and wait for your food, but only a few giving the impression they prefer the takeout set up. It’s a prime location in E Aurora. Prices are what you’d expect for E Aurora. Dinner portions are about $12. Unless it’s Fried Rice you’re after, then it’s cheaper. Oh yeah, their Donuts (a small wax bag of deep fried donut balls sprinkled with sugar) are so good! I’ve indulged twice but I have to watch it, because seriously, they are not only delicious, but cheap too! Timmy Ho’s step aside.

Great food, but terrible service. We called in an order today and said we would hold it with a credit card, but would prefer to pay cash. The lady hung up on us.
