Honestly the worst Chinese food In Salisbury. We always do Chinese food on Christmas Day. We tried ginger house for the first time and I will never go back. The California roll was the saddest sushi roll I’ve ever seen. The fried rice was hardly fried with a very weird taste. The egg roll was way over cooked and had a funky taste as soon as it hit my mouth I was spitting it right back out. I can’t believe the amount of money I just paid for it to go right in the trash. Do your self a favor and stick to lucky star our go to!

I am from Maryland’s Eastern Shore — Now, living in Georgia. Whenever I am home visiting, I drive to Salisbury specially to come to Ginger House. I’ve travel extensively, and love sushi. The Protein Roll is my FAVORITE Roll ANYWHERE…All Protein, no rice, which is perfect for low-carb lifestyle people like me. It’s insanely delicious! Ginger House never disappoints!

Overall good food. Skip the drinks, most are cheap coctail pre-mix, vine sold in individual cups instead of bottles. Sushi is tasty, but both sushi and sashimi are served in huge chunks that need to be cut in smaller pieces to eat without chocking. Pictures from our dinner, so you can see what it looks like.

Disinterested person at counter shoved order at me . Sushi was not fresh, loosely rolled and cut in random sizes which also for whatever reason didn’t include sauce. Ginger chicken was in a corn starch slurry and was bland. What few vegetables it had were chunks. Even Hunan Palace (which also is a sad state of what it was) and Lucky Star – two of the least expectations- hit their marks.
Decided to return chicken. Was gonna dispute charge on credit card. Man argued with me that every restaurant is different. (They don’t use tasteless corn starch slurry as sauce). Said don’t say we’re bad. They are. Gave partial refund. My opinion is just that. I had no high expectations but this was dinner and I’ve spent too much money this year. Salisbury isn’t Chinatown NYC but these restaurants are Chinese equivalent to McDonalds is a hamburger.

Great food and great service. Best sushi in Salisbury 🙂 try the sexy roll! And the house Philly! And the cucumber avocado! Not feeling sushi? No problem! Try the lo mein or great appetizers! There’s wontons, spring rolls, egg rolls, good good chicken. Lots and LOTS of options. Fair price. Our server was so great! Thanks for the great service Roselle!
