Ordered shrimp fried rice here and the rice they use is old and stale. Service was not good. Ignored me for five minutes until I had to get their attention. Atmosphere? I don’t know what to say. When I peeked into their kitchen, they had a portrait of Mao Zedong and this is in the USA. If you don’t know who he is, look him up. They might have taken it down by now but I was beyond perplexed.

Ginger Beef doesn’t really have an eating area, so it’s difficult to judge the atmosphere. I’d argue that this location is for carry out and delivery only…and that’s OK. I’ve ordered here three times and have had a quality experience all three times…thick chunks of white, hot food, abundant wonton in your soup order, and friendly service. I’ve ordered the almond chicken twice and find they use a modest amount of sauce and breading. You won’t find yourself with huge mystery chunks of fried MSG or dry stalks of pulled meat. Again, this location is primarily a kitchen and pick up in the tradition of what you’ll find in the city, corner carry outs. I’ve been disappointed that they have not had any half and half during my visits, so that’s a goal that would help this location soar to higher levels. They also have great white rice, which can never be understated.

Carry out dinner , tasty fresh ginger beef, sweet and dour chicken, orange beef, and chicken satay have graced our orders. Always so tasty! 🙂 Agree takes longer than told, and that crispy orange beef is delicious but not necessarily crispy meat, but golly it is so good! Atmosphere fine for take-out. Many yummy dishes. Have not tried the burgers or Thai dishes, I think included so that nearby businesses have great options. Have been there three times, all different entrees and appetizers. . 🙂

Usually the uglier the place, the better but I got a combo lo mien and they put dry chicken and like 3 pieces of shrimp. The other restaurants on the strip are better.

Excellent Chinese restaurant. Very small, but certainly popular and busy. I tried for the first time last week and will definitely be back. Plus, they are open late, which is great for when I have to work late and want to pick up something tasty.
The other Asian restaurants in the same center are also great, and I found Ginger Beef when browsing Google Maps to figure out where to eat lunch

I listened to the reviews and made the drive to Ginger Beef. I am glad I did. Everyone is so right. Great chicken, moist and tender with fresh vegetables in a savory sauce. I also loved the tender slices of pork. I intend to try the beef next time I go. Basically thanks for the reviews and I agree. Tiny place with great taste. I’ll pay for that!

Amazing food! Excellent customer service and the BEST delivery (just give them a call) available in Hallowing Point River Estates, Mason Neck. The fried bananas, spring rolls, Drunken Noodles, Thai Basil and Thai Curry (we do all chicken) are all delicious! If you like spicy ask the chef for some homemade chili oil…enjoy!!

We have been ordering from GB for 16plus years now. The owner is the sweetest lady and always a pleasure to talk to. We have never had an issue with the food and the order has been correct every single time. She knows my son does not eat the sweet and sour sauce that comes with his chicken ( weird I know lol) and she always remembers not to send it. Food comes fast ( unless it’s really busy) and is always hot. I enjoy so many of the dishes and their donuts are AMAZING, I highly recommend trying them. All in all, a great place and I love supporting mom and pop shops. If u mention u want contactless delivery and add ur tip while ordering, they happily comply.

First time customer, I ordered chicken & broccoli. The large order was very light on the broccoli. The sauce was sort of sweet; that was unexpected & unwelcomed. I’ve never had slightly sweet sauce & no thank you. My order did not include any sauces, napkins or forks. However, there was a fortune cookie. Someday I’ll give them another try with a different dish.
