Their noodle soup is highly customizable: first, choose your base: beef, chicken, or vegan pho, spicy lemongrass, or coconut curry; then select your protein: sliced rare eye round, beef brisket, grilled pork, grilled chicken, or vegetables. You can even add roasted bone marrow for just $6 more!
They offer two sizes: $14.50 for a small and $16.50 for a medium. Personally, I found the small size more than enough. It’s generously packed with noodles and meat. My friend thought the medium might still be on the smaller side for those with a bigger appetite.
*Coconut Curry Lemongrass Pho $14.50
I chose the coconut curry lemongrass soup, which was the most recommended base in online reviews. It was quite spicy, but I ended up drinking a lot of the broth. Yet I did notice some dryness on my tongue afterward, which made me wonder if it contained MSG. For the protein, I got a mix of rare eye round and brisket. I preferred the rare eye round, as it was more tender.
I was homesick and searching for a pho spot nearby when I was deeply disappointed with the Chicken Pho I had here. The owner and chef don’t seem to be Vietnamese, as grilled chicken is never used in pho in Vietnam. This completely ruined the taste. Even if I tried to consider it a fusion dish, it’s simply bad. The grilled chicken meat was incredibly dry. Don’t ruin our people food with your bad creativity.
When you need a flavorful broth and god ingredients this is THE. SPOT.
I get the spicy lemongrass soup with vegetables. Pristine.
Perfect intersection of Thai Vietnamese cuisine. I can’t say enough good things about this place. The bahn mi are amazing the bread is excellent pickles are excellent. I love the chicken one and the fish one (still need to try the beef)
Love the savory betel leaf wagyu appetizer also
cozy space with good food! enjoyed both dishes, i’d say especially the lemongrass pho because of how refreshing it is.
One thing to note is that they don’t have a liquor license so all the cocktails are soju based.
The vegetable pho is great because it comes with tofu and there’s lots of bok choi, peas, and mushrooms. I love the fibre boost. And you can get it with any broth (I liked beef > chicken).
It’s a great spot for gluten free friendly food. Good prices for pho.
One appetizer and 2 mains came to $42 – very reasonable prices.
We started with the roast pork buns. Two of us had the vermicelli bowls (one lemongrass chicken; the other with pork belly). My other friend had their curry. The food was great!
The restaurant is a beautiful space and the service is terrific. They also have a very interesting cocktail menu. We will definitely be back!
