This is hands down the best place to eat in Kapolei or anywhere on the west side of Oahu!
My family visits Oahu every summer, and until we discovered Gina’s Kapolei, we struggled to find a truly satisfying spot to eat. The food here is consistently delicious, and the portions are generous! While it’s mostly a takeout-style place, there are dine-in options too—we chose to eat in and loved it. Can’t wait to come back next summer!

Came in after church not expecting too much, but this food was so dang good I think about it in my dreams…. Customer service was amazing, food didn’t take long and I will 100% be back, workers are also very friendly if you have questions about different meats sides ect

Located in the Kapolei Village Center, Gina’s offers a wide variety of Korean barbeque plates and also provides catering services for parties and family get togethers.
The combo plates were very reasonably priced and comes with 3 scoops of rice and 4 different sides. Then we picked Korean garlic chicken wings which were nice and crispy, the bulgogi which was okay and the galbi which was thick and seasoned very well. Then they have many different options for side dishes ranging from different kimchees to Mac salad to japchae and your other typical Korean sides.
They pack this plate lunch with so much food that I wonder how they stay in business. If you’re looking for Korean barbeque plate to eat out in Kapolei, look no further, this is your spot.
They do have tables to dine in, bathroom for customers and free parking in the plaza parking lot.

YUM! This was the perfect start to our Hawaiian vacation. The atmosphere is functional – but the food and service were amazing. They suggested we split the mini family meal and it fed four adults with enough left over for at least one more. The meat was tender and flavorful. The sauces were also very flavorful. They had a wide variety of side options and it was all delicious. The sides including noodles and corn were served cold which was a bit different for me but it was still delicious. Give them a try!

I really like the food here! Everything I’ve tried has been good, but my favorites are definitely the Meat Jun and Mandu — probably some of the best on the island. The staff is super friendly, and the location is convenient.
I highly recommend this spot if you love Korean food! I usually get the mini family pack, and it’s such a great deal — easily feeds 4 to 5 people depending on how much you can eat. Great portions, great value, and always delicious. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area!

Food was delicious. My fiance, son and I tried it once and had to come back again before leaving the island. We tried the fried chicken, bugolgi plate, kalbi and meat Jun combo and bibimbap. All very good. Huge portions and friendly service. 100% recommend.

I am absolutely amazed with Gina’s. The price is right for the amount of food you get – one combo will feed 2-3 people. I’ve never seen a To-go box close at this place. Always 2-3 rubber bands to keep the lid down! And the food…truly amazing. I’ve never seen Kalbi short ribs so big in my life – they looked like steaks!
Order ahead and be happily surprised that my review still couldn’t do Gina’s justice. Definitely eat here, you’ll be amazed too!

So this place, located in a strip mall in Kapolei, has the Grindz (Hawaiian for amazing food)!
My colleague took me here and wasn’t sure what to expect. It’s Korean-Hawaiian and is very similar to how Panda Express operates, but with gigantic portions. The owner and staff are super friendly and efficient and the menu has a ton to choose from. The Bonchon selection is huge, leaving you with a dilemma of what to pick.
Food is solid! I went with the Kalbi with a side of Mac Salad and greens. Simply delicious, all of it!
If you find yourself in Kapolei and want some authentic Hawaiian fare, visit this low key joint! It’s super casual and it’s a quick meal, but it’s the Grindz!!!

Gina’s is ALWAYS my first stop when coming back home to visit my family. They have the BEST chicken katsu, meat jun and sides – love that there’s always so many fresh options of sides. The staff are excellent and always have a smile on their face. Everything about Gina’s is perfect. If I didn’t gain weight I would legit eat this everyday! Highly recommend!
