My son and I came here to get some food before going to a concert next door. We were both pleasantly surprised by the burgers we got. We both ordered the psycho burger and at first I thought that looked like a lot of ingredients to put on a burger, but they all came together perfectly. You might want to smash this down with your hand if you’re going to fit this thing in your mouth.

The location was really convenient for our plans that evening and the fried shrimp were cooked perfectly. The chicken nachos on the other hand were good, but the chicken was overcooked, dry, and not very tasty. The street noise was loud and obnoxious with motorcycles and cars revving intermittently. Cigarette smoke wafting through the open window did not pair well with our food either. If you go, pick a spot away from the windows and street.

We had an incredible time. The chicken tenders and loaded fries were phenomenal. The staff was amazing and very attentive. Definitely would recommend if you’re in the Charlotte area!

Had a great time with the band playing but the staff was on a power trip. They slightly broke my id by using excessive bending force. And I tried to talk to the manager about such reckless behavior and then his way of fixing the problem was to press me for being to close to him and kicking me out. I was intoxicated but not to the extent where I was being disrespectful. As a manager you should take criticism and help the customer to the best of your abilities. He was immature and couldn’t keep his cool terrible attributes for a manager of a other wise establishment.

I’m here now and it’s a Wednesday night and I’m a restaurant owner. This place is amazing. We had the steak salad, the southwest chicken salad, Caprese salad, chicken, wings, and couple of drinks. It is out of this world. The service is fantastic. The food is outstanding. This place should definitely be five stars.

We just had such a great evening at Gin Mill! We stopped in for Happy Hour and they were offering Half Price Appetizers and $5 drink specials with Whiskey. Their food is mouthwatering. The views of the city and sunset were top notch. The music was great and the rooftop was so nice. This is a hidden gem!

Went here for brunch today and man was I blown away. The food was wonderful! They also had a build your own Moscow Mule bar. One of the first I have ever seen. Gin Mill brings the thunder with the food for sure! Go check it out! The staff was incredibly friendly and super accommodating! I will be back.

Great bar food. Pepper jack dip was fantastic and my shrimp wrap was pretty good. I think the components needed to be spread out more evenly across the wrap. My son enjoyed his psycho burger. Fries are crispy and delicious.

Went to the rooftop tonight for a little birthday party. Got pretzels, fried pickles, hummus and a black bean burger. Loved the pickles and the dip that came with them was wonderful. Hummus wasnt my favorite but the pimento cheese was yummy.
The black bean burger was my most favorite one I’ve had. Super good with a bit of a spice. I’d definitely come back just for that.
Service was pretty good even though we had to walk all the way downstairs for drinks and food.
Atmosphere was great for a small gathering. Beautiful view and a nice breeze from the top deck.
