A clean new building opened, so it caught my attention, and I stopped by for lunch today. Just like the exterior, the inside was very clean and had a cozy, welcoming atmosphere.
I especially loved that this place makes and sells a variety of kimchi in such a clean and fresh way.
Today, I ordered the kimchi stew and bossam (boiled pork) set from the lunch menu as takeout. While waiting, they kindly offered complimentary green tea and kimchi samples, which were all delicious.
The staff were friendly, the food was tasty, and the prices were very reasonable. I also heard that a café will be opening right next door soon, which makes me even more excited!
I’ll definitely be coming back again soon.

A new cozy spot that instantly feels like home From the atmosphere to the food, everything gives comforting, home-cooked vibes. We stopped by for lunch and tried the sooyuk and kimchi jjigae. Both were so satisfying. The meat of sooyuk is so tender, and just the right amount of seasoning (my 4-year old daughter loved it). The jjigae wasn’t overly spicy, yet the broth was rich, deep and refreshing. You can really taste how fresh the ingredients are, and it all feels clean and wholesome. Prices are super reasonable too. And of course the kimchi is delicious, they had a few different kinds and have them locally made (!!) which makes a huge difference from other packaged kimchis in the market. I’m def coming back for more!

I’d say the food was reasonable for its price. Priced $7 – $13 /dish. Taste was fair. The portion was small yet understandable for its good price. We didnt like the cold noodle bcuz the noodle was hard. It should’ve been cooked longer.. Well today was the 2nd day since they opened. So Im sure they’d improve better from many others’ comments.

We tried the bossam, kimchi jjigae, panini, and napa perilla tart today for lunch and everything was amazing. It’s been a while since I’ve had such a delicious meal. We got takeout, but the space is so cozy and cute and we’re excited to visit again to dine in.

I recently visited for the first time for a takeout order of Kimchi Stew with pork belly (김치찌개), and I am so glad I did. This was my soul food growing up in South Korea, and I think I’ve finally found my new favorite spot in the neighborhood!
The best part? It was only $7.00, which is about half the price of other Korean restaurants nearby. I hope they can maintain this quality and value as they grow.
If you’re looking for authentic kimchi flavors and great prices, definitely check them out!

Everything here was delicious—the kimchi jjigae, bossam (boiled pork), and the panini. The grilled grapes served with the bossam were a wonderful touch and really elevated the flavors. The panini was the standout for me—absolutely the best dish and incredibly satisfying. I’d definitely come back!

So Lim is friendly and has “kimchee stories”. The sitting area is cozy and cute. We had the kimchee jigae, pork belly with grape, perilla tart, naengmyeon….missed the persimmon kimchee, they sold out of the kimchee panini. It was such warm and comforting food. No time to take pictures because the food disappeared that fast.
Will be back. And the to-go kimchee are packaged with bojagi – so cute!
