This is a cozy family, privately owned restaurant that has all the hometown flair. Tired of franchised dining? Go here!! Good food, good service, reasonable prices…

This was my first experience at Gimi’s.
The welcome greating and friendly atmosphere immediately put us at ease. Our waitress was amazing, and patient, while we looked at the 4 page menu making our selections. We also ordered “to go” and the waitress volunteered waiting until we were at least 1/2 done before putting in the order. Thoughtful. The liver and onions were so tender with very little silver skin or vessels. Tender, not dry. If you enjoy liver and onions, this is the place to go! My daughter had something from the lunch menu. I don’t remember what it was, but she scarred it up! The reuben we took home was mouth-watering delicious! Can’t wait to have another! Try this place, it good and it’s homey. ☺️

Amazing experience, went for breakfast with my sister and when we ordered I asked if I could still order off the lunch menu even though it was around 10am. Our waitress said absolutely and so I got their chicken bacon wrap. It’s delicious, fresh ingredients and hot. The fries were spot on and the soup it came with was decent (chicken dumpling) the staff checked on us multiple times, never letting us run out of coffee.
My only “complaint” would be how loud it was but it was a sat morning so nothing I wouldn’t expect ❤️
Forgot to snap a photo before so this is it in my to go container

Great food and friendly service. The restaurant is nicely decorated for the season and clean. The soup is homemade and it is fabulous! And, you will still have money left in your wallet when you leave!

Great little restaurant. I had the western omelette, my son fruit french toast and my husband the country Benedict. It was about the best breakfast we have ever tasted. The cheese in the omelette was outstanding. We must be in Wisconsin!

I ate here when they first opened and thought it was below average, and it’s been a couple years I thought I would try again. Shouldn’t have. First the service was mediocre at best, definitely a ton of room for improvement. My favorite was when we got to listen to the wait staff, owner & cooks fight. That really made the atmosphere family friendly for my two children & I. Then the food came eventually but by someone other than our waitress. I paid $6.99 for dry box mac & cheese that in itself is absurd. I waited for almost 15 mins for some more ranch for my extremely dry chicken ranch wrap. And my daughter never touched the Mac & cheese.I asked for a box and that came out with someone’s hair on it. I had to pay $29 for the food. Others around me were waiting for food a long time and everyone sent back almost full plates. It wasn’t even that busy. I genuinely am confused at the rate of stars this place has.

Delicious food. I had breakfast with my son a few days ago. The eggs and biscuits were fantastic. The service was excellent. Very reasonably priced.

Hard to mess up a breakfast but it can be done. This place was good. Friendly staff, typical breakie chow. Good bacon, nice portions. Zero complaints. Would return!
