4’s all across the board! The salmon was good and really just good. The broccoli and green beans were really just good. My fiancé enjoyed the chicken parm.
I went in for the takeout. The place was packed, there was no host/hostess or even podium. Someone eventually walked up, asked me what I was there for, said “Okay just a sec,” and I stood there for maybe 5mins before the bartender asked me and gave me my mobile order than was sitting at the bar the whole time waiting to be picked up.

Food was very good, wings were decent. Wedge salad was very good. Went on wing night, it was very busy. Service was slightly slow but understandable for a wing night at such a popular spot.

I visited Gil’s Cafe last weekend for brunch, and from the moment I stepped onto the outdoor deck, the cozy atmosphere and warm welcome set the tone for a great meal. We tried their famous fish sandwich and prime rib—both were outstanding: the fish was perfectly crispy and flaky, and the prime rib arrived medium-rare and melt-in-your-mouth tender. The coffee selection was impressive, and they even offer solid vegetarian choices like stuffed zucchini boats and hearty salads Restaurant Guru. Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, striking the perfect balance between efficiency and letting you relax.

Rating should be like 3.5. The food is pretty basic stuff from what we ordered, the poutine was a little cool around the outside, but hot in the middle, so once you got into it, it was decent. The penne with vodka sauce and chicken was disappointing. The chicken was microwaved and put on the pasta, and the pasta itself and the sauce was luke warm similar to the poutine. The raw onion in the sauce was a little off putting as well. My partner had the shrimp Alfredo, and it was also Luke warm.

Server was a go getter. 6 Adults 4 kids. Kept Drinks full. Answered our every whim. She was the only one working at first, so she was doing it all. Corned beef I believe wasn’t cut against the grain, so it was tough. Wings were meaty, spaghetti for two kids was good. Wraps were excellent as was the salad. We sat on The patio.

Not too impressed with the switch of ownership as were sat at a table with far too many gnats/fruit flies for comfort before moving to a different table. ?Meatball appetizer wasnt that great, potatoe skins weren’t the best. Chicken tenders were still great, as well as the grilled chicken sandwhich. Hoping this was just them ironing out the quirks.

Stopped in on Friday with my family for dinner. Our server was Tammy, not only was she kind and very polite but she suggested the pizza to share amongst the entire family! AND LET ME TELL YOU, she was not wrong!!!! Food was great but what made our experience was the service from TAMMY!! She was accommodating and very polite to myself and entire family. SHE WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND!!! I will be back for the great food but more importantly for Tammy’s awesome service!!

Omg! We went there this past Friday. There were 8 of us. Our server was wonderful. The food was excellent. We were seated on the deck. The atmosphere was great. Everyone got different food and all the food was great. Definitely going back!

Ordered take out (1st and probably last time). Just wanted to try a local place got “baked steak and potatoes” and the portion for what I paid for is not worth it. It was 1 scoop of potatoes & about 6 slivers of meat. Fork is in the picture for size reference. Next time I’ll go to Als cafe. The waitress behind the bar was nice and the restaurant itself seems well maintained.
