Gilmer Road House is absolutely my favorite place to go for pizza and a beverage. Best pizza around hands down!
This isn’t your average bar pizza! Fresh made to order hot delicious pizza! Great soup, burgers and fish as well. Decent drink prices and friendly patrons.They always seem to be busy so keep that in mind. Sometimes you have to wait but trust me it will be worth it. They do have a very nice outdoor deck seating area. The staff is amazing. The girls are always super busy so show them you appreciate them!$

Me and my husband decided to stop in for quick bite since our son has travel ball practice near by. The food was absolutely amazing. He had the patty melt and I had the Cuban special. I’ve had many Cubans and that was top tier. Cute, old style place. Our bartender was also great! We will be back!

The food here is disgusting. I went there with my significant other in ordered barbecue ribs, and he got the fish and chips. Completely . The fish tasted old. The barbecue, the meat was clearly not fresh. I don’t know who these people are that are raving about this joint. We were both hungry and didn’t even finish our food.
Now I don’t know if we Were being Discriminated against or if the quality of the food is just always bad. Either way we will never again set foot in this place.
It is unfortunate because we moved here in April and we’re super looking forward to finding a good diner type restaurant.

I definitely will be coming back! We had the creamy chicken and rice soup which was soo good! The soup consistency is very thick with pieces of chicken, rice and celery which in my opinion was a perfect balance. The chicken parmesan that I had was amazing, it had a delicious meat sauce and the chicken itself was huge. The portions are big, I definitely needed a box.The burger my husband had was so juicy and the fries were nice and crispy. It was a definite yes from my burger-loving husband.

The food here is outstanding. Recently ordered the chicken parm which came with a small salad, ordered garlic dressing which was homemade and perfect. The meal was served with garlic toast which was the best I have ever had, and the chicken was baked perfect with meat sauce, the pasta was thin linguine but not overcooked. Price was very reasonable too!

Atmosphere a little off … Some guy wanted to park his cheap old Bentley somewhere else because he said my cyber truck would possibly catch on fire , hilarious … little does he know I’m 1/4 of his age and I had his Bentley on my wrist .. and a RR in my driveway anyways cheers 🙂 .. other then that , people can be less cocky .. nobody cares about your 10 year old+ old Bentley .. sheesh other then that food & service and the business is good if you want to kill some time and play slots … Avoid parking next to the old Bentley it seems like he spent his 401k savings on it LOL

The pan pizza was excellent. Sauce-great, crust-great, cheese-overflowing. It’s a classic tavern and it’s been at this location forever. Now I see why. They know something about making a great pizza.
We got the mozzarella sticks and they were great too.
We called in the order, it was ready on time and the bartender hooked us up.
Highly recommend.
