I went to grab food and happy hour drinks after work yesterday. It was my first time there and I will go back especially learning they are under new management. Ruby was a vibe and the drinks were really good and strong. I got a burger and fries. They have the good crinkle seasoned fries there and the burger was really good too. If you go and Ruby is there, you will not be disappointed. They are undergoing some renovations which are definitely needed. I look forward to the updates and going back again. I didn’t think to take pics before I ate my burger and the drinks I started on them without pics also.

I was there on Feb 3rd and the food was good and drinks strong. Bartender/manager Ruby was attentive with a fun outgoing personality. The restaurant recently went under new ownership and they are working on turning this place around for the BETTER. I went around 4pm so I wasn’t there when it was too busy but I definitely plan on going back.

i live in the complex directly across the street and every friday and saturday they play the music so loud that i can’t even sleep in my own home. i hate it and i’m actually moving for this reason. i understand it’s a business and nobody really cares, but i just don’t understand why the music has to be so loud. i thought under new ownership it might get better, but unfortunately it hasn’t. i am currently up writing this, bc it’s a friday night and the music is literally shaking my apartment. the food is good tho.

I was in that area for about a month due to a work convention. Looked up the surrounding spots to go eat at and found this place. The parking was surprisingly easy and when I walked in the vibes were decent. I didn’t expect a lot seeing how it was 1:37 in the afternoon. I ordered some wings (Korean Spicy), steak and chz, and I had an IPA. The waitress/bartender was cool but left me with an off putting feeling. I racked a quick game of pool and before you knew it my food was out. I went to my table and sat down. The food looked great, but once I started on the wings I realized that they were undercooked and had a faint smell. On top of that, I ordered Korean Spicy but got Teriyaki. I slid them to the side and started on my sub. Idk if it’s the foodie in me, but the steak tasted like store-bought and lacked seasoning. Once the waitress/bartender came around I said something about my wings, she then just stared me down like I was speaking another language. After about 40 seconds of silence I just asked for a to-go plate, paid for my order and just left. I’m trying to remember what her name actually was and to see if I can find my receipt, but as for now I don’t think that I will frequent that establishment again. I ended my day by having to go get (Pepto and ginger ale) because that chicken had my stomach on another level! Typically people don’t give you numerous chances to disrespect them especially when you are paying them for a specific service, and on top of that having the bubble guts makes it a “NO” for me in the future.

Googled sports bars while in Atlanta for work and Gillys was closest to my hotel. Nice looking place from outside with good available parking. Went inside and sat at the bar. They are training a new never bartended before bartender who was very friendly. However, at first no one was helping her and just threw her to the wolves. I felt sorry for her. Later in the evening someone started to help her. Everyone at the bar was very friendly. But the food was horrible!! I ordered a Philly cheese steak and upgraded my side to a ceaser salad. The ceaser dressing had no flavor to it! I put tons of pepper on it and was still bad. With the philly the meat was over cooked and also had no flavor. The bun was very soggy. As for the sports bar, if you set at the front of the bar you have 3 large screen tvs to watch. However, if you set on the oppisit side of the bar, you have to watch the tvs out in the dinning room. Only problem us they have these large Chandeliers with big white round bulb covers on them so you can not see the Tvs. This place has much Potential and I was told that the new owner was there in the dinning room.
I hope he does better for this establishment.

Only second time visiting this place. Bartenders are attentive and friendly. Drinks are reasonably priced (meaning on avg w/ nost places).

Food: Ordered wings and fries. Wings rated 5 out of 10. Fries were all burned so can’t say how they tasted as I trashed them. Kitchen not scheduled to close for another 3-4 hours so my timing can’t be blamed.

Summary….great service from bartenders makes it a decent drinking/pool table bar. (Skip food) I’ll try food during daylight hours to see if it’s better then.

I’ve been coming to this bar for over 4 years. The new management is awesome. The poker is always hysterical and fun. The crowd is always welcoming as well as the staff. The food is really good and fair priced. The drinks are always good and they definitely help elevate my poker skills. It’s a very nice poker training ground to learn patience and how to get sucked out with class. If you can survive here, you can make it anywhere. Keep it up!

This is an awesome neighborhood bar. People and staff are great, the kitchen is solid. Last year, the bar owner impromptu raised thousands of dollars to help the family of a patron that was suffering through cancer treatment—it warms your soul.

And Those Korean bbq wings….get some

Also, go raiders! RN4L

I enjoyed my food and drinks! Even better because it’s an after hours spot with a good mixed crowd. There’s a DJ karaoke, and billiards table.
