The staff are really nice and helpful. I had a great sandwich but the star of the show was the Reese’s peanut butter cup cookie – it’s excellent if you like gooey cookies.

Order ahead, as their ordering system makes no sense and you can get stuck behind people ordering 6-7 sandwiches. They desperately need to create a take out line separate from eat in or something. But, they had two people on call ahead orders, even though there was a large line that wasn’t moving fast.
Also, just need a bit of training for the staff to move more efficiently and not do things like refilling condiments when customers are waiting and there’s enough to fulfill the immediate order.
The sandwiches are quite good! The finely shredded cabbage is a great change up from lettuce. Bread is pretty good. Dressings were good.
TL;DR Solid sandwich, order ahead.

Honestly this was an experience. When we arrived the line was wrapped around the entire sandwich shop and we decided to wait it out. It was so worth it!!
It was fun watching the entire staff with the hustle and bustle. They had an impressive system going. From the prep stations, refill station and then the crew tackling the sub line!
We got the Hot Italian on a gluten free wrap. It was truly impressive. The wrap itself was so good, I would actually love to know what the brand is.
We are so grateful this place was recommended to us and we will definitely return

Other than the very strange layout of the space, the food is amazing and the staff is friendly. Best subs in New England!!! The mini size is enough for me… not sure how anyone can eat the giant! Prices are fair. Will go back.

Always a go-to! Been going here for decades !HUGE grinders (I get a small and it feeds me for a couple times) Zippy Italian mac salad is good. They take credit cards now too. Crew is always upbeat…Thanks Laurie, Amanda & All!

Still an institution!!! Worth the wait, which can be longer than most sandwich establishments, but for good reason.
Recommend the Hot Meats sub, and try the cabbage, as it really adds a nice touch (I’m not a cabbage guy normally).

Truly the only place around to get the BEST grinder. Every time I crave a grinder, it’s a Gill’s grinder. Best bread! People will wait in a line of 12 ahead of them. they are that good. Locally famous!! They even cater and have the best tuna mac salad, spicy too, real crabmeat grinders sell out. Day old bread and rolls 50 cents, baked goods, drinks, chips, seating.
