The food was good! The server was excellent, I got the chicken dinner which was excellent. The wing and the drumstick was overcooked but the chicken breast was spot on, very juicy, seasoned very well. They have a nice selection of beers and brews. They have a limited selection of kids meal. Overall, I would definitely come back again.

We have eaten here twice. Both times were great. The burgers are top notch, and the prices are really good too. Some crabby people left bad reviews, but we thought that the food was good, the owners seem like really nice people (who actually stopped by our table to talk to us), and the service and atmosphere were friendly. Don’t let some grumpy self-proclaimed food critics discourage you from trying this place. We are happy to have another good restaurant in town.

A friend and I stopped in for lunch yesterday. All of the hype and excitement for this place, and we were not disappointed! Burger and chicken were both delicious. I have never been a fan of ketchup, and mustard has always been my ‘go to’ condiment. However, holy cow, is the house made ketchup AMAZING! It has a little zing and a little kick. I loved it so much, I bought a jar to bring home! We will definitely be back. Welcome to Genoa!

The food is great, the servers are nice, the manager is out on the floor greeting tables, making sure everyone is happy. I’m kinda picky and have some food restrictions and they were very accommodating in regards to that. The tater tots are to die for. I got mine with a side of ranch and was happy to discover it was homemade! I could tell from the quality. I’ve also tried the burgers, so far the Paddy Melt is my favorite. Looking forward to trying the chicken pot pie.

I highly recommend Gillerson’s Gastro Diner. It’s a 10/10 from me. While I did not dine-in, I ordered to-go and it was fantastic. The order was ready in 10 min. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the “cog” inator (a burger with lettuce, tomatoes, onion, homemade pickle, American cheese and mayo)with tater tots. The homemade pickles were delicious. The tater tots were crispy and tasty, just the way I like them. I will definitely be ordering from here soon, and I plan to dine in next time.

Great quality food for reasonable prices. I was happy to see another business investing in a small town near mine and had to try them out. The onion rings were amazing, I highly recommend them. The burgers and pot pie were also very good. I will definitely be back again

Food quality is poor. Overall sloppy establishment without good food to back it up. The Pot pie consist of half a cup of canned soup with a stale biscuit. Burger was swimming mayonnaise. The stuffed onion rings were the worst thing I’ve put in my mouth in at least 5 years. The staff is nice but looks sloppy and unorganized inside . The number one negative about this place is the food …. it’s low quality and does not taste good . It’s too bad because Genoa deserves a decent burger joint .

Nice New Edition 2 Genoa. As the First new look nice friendly staff in the food is pretty good. One thing I noticed is maybe they need a little more training. Wife ordered soup which was delivered promptly but very soon after that her entree was delivered. Pretty hard to eat two things at once.

Couple negatives here though. The music is loud making it difficult to talk over.. As a result people are talking loudly because of that. Another negative might be the lack of a breezeway when it gets really cold outside.
