Came here for both lunch and dinner on vacation this week. Totally swept off my feet with the food. Ordered the Chicken Schwarma, Pastrami & Roast Beef Sandwiches. Definitely highly recommend this place. Came out fresh and hot. Short waiting time as well. Totally Kosher menu. Everyone should give this place a try.

I have never been here before. From the start I knew I was going to enjoy. The atmosphere was relaxed and Yehuda, the manager welcomed us and made us comfortable. We were a party of 6 but were served quickly. The food was tasty and fresh. There were no leftover. And to top it all, our bill was very reasonable given this being an “out of town” restaurant. I would definitely recommend getting off the 95 and grabbing a bite. A side note, there is a beautiful beach down the block. We even got to watch a falcon rocket launch.

Second time we left without ordering.
It was a slow night and we sat at our table for 25 minutes without any acknowledgment from the server. We eventually went up to the bar to put in our order. Only at that point did the server inform us that they were out of multiple items. Which would’ve been perfectly fine if he had informed us of that fact any earlier.

Perfection!! The service was excellent and the food is top tier! Noah is very sweet, attentive, and knowledgeable! 🙂 Really tasty vegan options on the menu including appetizers and desserts!! They even have a delicious vegan egg i put on my veggie burger!! (they have vegan cheese too!!) Not to mention this place has THE best hummus i’ve ever had, no exaggeration. My new favorite spot (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)

We enjoyed the appetizers and pita. Unfortunately our grilled chicken was completely raw despite being thin cutlets, and we were also the only table there at the time so there should have been no rush to cook the food. We notified the server and the chef put the same chicken back on the grill. We still had to pay for that meal and spent a total of nearly $90 for two appetizers, two grilled chicken entrees and a chicken tender kids meal. The cashier/server was nice when we interacted but very quiet, and we felt that the service overall was poor – no drink refill, no inquiry if the food is ok, no clearing of the plates off the table, and no apology or discount from the chef for his mistake. Our main disappointment was the lack of customer service to accommodate for being served raw chicken by such a highly rated restaurant.

I first encountered Gili’s in Jacksonville. It was great, but a little far from my kids who live in Ormond Beach. It’s such a pleasure now that Gili’s has opened in OB with a full menu on Granada Blvd near the beach. The decor on the tables and on the walls will definitely catch your attention if you’re a Harley Davidson fan. The background music, however, was pleasing Israeli music and not too loud.
The roast beef sandwich was juicy, with caramelized onions cooked to perfection. I ordered a Philly (fake) cheese steak, which was surprisingly good on a toasted baguette. The service was quick and friendly. This place is definitely worth stopping at for a tasty meal on any road trip along the I-95.
