Tres Bien. I came to Boyne city to do some skiing and found this place. They have an impressive assortment of pastries and very tasty savory crepes. I think they’re equally strong in the sweet and savory departments. Please be sure to check out their cream puffs and the apple pastry (Kouign-amann). My bacon/egg/spinach/swiss crepe was impressive, served fresh and piping hot. A few small tables and a small wall counter. It’s like being back in Europe.

This is probably the best French bakery I’ve been to outside of France! Their pastries, quiche, and sweet and savory crepes are amazing. The staff are wonderful. The ambiance is perfect. Also available: a bathroom, limited seating inside and outside, coffee, bread, merch, and local art. My favorite: the quiche (and it comes with a little cream puff for a sweet finish!).

Overall agree one of best bakeries in michigan. Fantastic and great options and great taste. Not the nicest staff but they get it done. They do charge for a little cardboard thing to eat your food from… that’s a little frustrating and cheap especially when you spend over 50 dollars and they still charge you for 50 cents for a plate for food you are eating there from them.

Delicious. The raspberry cream pastry was our favorite of the bunch, but all were divine

I have searched high and low to find a French bakery that compares to Gilda’s near my Grand Rapids home to no avail. My friends and I have been to the area twice for a girls trip and the thing I was most excited about on our return was walking to the bakery to eat crepes for breakfast and taking a pastry to go. I love it so much, my husband and I are taking a weekend away to Boyne City just so I can show him.

Cannot recommend enough!

Stopped by for a coffee and a baked good and loved all the options. Everything looked amazing it was too hard to pick. Ended up getting a vanilla cappuccino and the almond croissant and both hit the spot. The bakery was a bit cramped ordering with all the people waiting on their fresh crepes but we were served very quickly.

You don’t want to miss this bakery! We lived in Paris and moved back this past May. We’ve missed a good croissant and pain au chocolat. Gilda’s was amazing! The croissant and pain au chocolat were crunchy and airy. The baguette was also yummy with a good crunch. We also had the banana & Nutella crepe and ham, Swiss, and egg galette. They both were yummy and had lots of toppings. The coffee was also quite good.

Our kiddos loved everything and said it tasted like in France too.

This is literally the best bakery in all of Michigan. This best kept secret has been revealed: their reputation has spread far and wide. Over the years, the line gets longer and longer in the summer months. It’s relatively quick to point and choose delicious French bakery items. Their pastries including croissants rival the best in French Canada and France (that I’ve experienced). Their crepes are out of this world. Please understand, however, crepes are handmade to order. 1-2 cooks make them on 2 crepe cookers. That takes time. The result is heavenly. Sweet or savory options.
