We had the absolute best experience at Gilda’s Restaurant. Our server was Taylor, she was knowledgeable, and gave us such great service. We ordered bread service, the caesar salad, rigatoni bolognese, and the breaded pork chop (the special). Everything was absolutely amazing. The caesar dressing was the most amazing caesar dressing I’ve ever had. The rigatoni was so rich in flavor and filling. The breaded pork chop came with crispy potatoes and vegetables, and everything on the plate was to die for. Full of flavor. We absolutely will be coming back here. I couldn’t have picked a better “pre-honeymoon” meal. Thank you to Taylor and the chef for the fantastic service and meal!

Phenomenal meal and service. I regret it’s taken us so long to find our way back here. Still as great as it was a few years ago. That’s a testament to a great owner and team. We really enjoyed the bruschetta appetizer, creative mocktails, the king salmon and Dungeness crab pasta specials, and the best tiramisu in all of Portland! See you again soon!

Such an amazing experience. The service was great, very friendly, answered all questions, and provided recommendations. The food was so fresh with great flavor and larger portions. The restaurant is self was very relaxing and calming.

Apparently, I’ve been coming here since they first opened, or haven’t made it back in 20 something years. Either way. Very much the quintessential, authentic, back to basics Italian food. Not, Portland Italian, how PDX changes and twists every fare to give it its own nuance, flavor, nonsense, that I literally and figuratively eat up. Pun intended. Decent portions depending on your appetite. Wild up charges to include pads of butter on the pay by the basket, bread. I know, Covid took away all the free bread and free chips…

But alas. The service was very attentive. Food came out quickly despite being a bustling night with a headlining concert literally next door. And many in my party thought it was the best Italian they’ve ever had. Sold. May not take another 20 or so years to make it back this time.

This was amazing. The food was quick, delicious, and had me wishing for more. The dishes are very flavorful and cooked to perfection. The staff is lovely, very accommodating, and knowledgeable about the menu. Also, the lemonade tastes like real lemonade and is perfectly tart. Well done Gilda’s!!

Dinner on date night this week at Gilda’s, one of our restaurant partners in the city.

One of the very best burrata salads we’ve had. Beautifully seasoned and generous. It could be a luncheon meal.

Paul had their pork and beef meatballs, which had a surprising, silky texture. We hope the owner sells those nationally!

I had a thick cut of steelhead, perfectly cooked, accompanied by roasted vegetables and olives. Ohmygosh…

Turns out, Essential Confection’s flagship cheesecake is the restaurant’s best selling dessert!

Our business is relational, and we love promoting what people do well. Bravo!

We brought OOT family to Gilda’s for dinner this week. They were in town on the spur of a moment so we were happy to show them our favorite Italian restaurant.

As always, the meals were fabulous. The fish special was glorious, the vegetables were cooked perfectly, and the polenta was amazingly flavorful!

Hands down the best experience and Italian food we’ve had. We’re from Washington and haven’t found anything that compares to Gilda’s—especially the lobster and prawns pasta, which was absolutely unforgettable. Perfectly cooked seafood, rich flavors, and a sauce that ties it all together beautifully.

Marco created us the BEST Italian lunch at my favorite restaurant in PDX. They rolled out the red carpet and showed us the best business lunch I’ve had in a really long time.

Cannot wait to fly to Santa Croce manana.

The website says they close at 10:30 pm. We got there at 9:05-ish pm. We were made to wait for 10 minutes. Then they told us they only had their lounge menu available, as the dining room closes at 9:15 pm. WTH?? You made us wait! I could see anyone after us, but we had to pay downtown PDX parking with a game going on ($25)! Very bad service. Just close at 9!

We had a large group of around 12 people and they handled it well. Cristina was our server and she helped me with the wine selections. The food was good, although I prefer the northern Italian style over this, which was more southern. Their meatballs were good.
