Stopped for a quick lunch. I got sliced brisket and the wife got pulled pork. Both were good. I’m from a different part of the country and the sauce is good but not my style. It’s a sticky/sweet style. Not a deal breaker.

Decent food, but could be a lot better.
Potato salad, cheesy corn, baked beans, and Mac n cheese were bland. The meat options we got were a bit on the dry side.
We bought the platter meant to serve 5-6 people. But portions were definitely on the small side. I know I left hungry because I wanted to make sure the others in my party had enough to eat. So skip the platter option and get individual meals.
Service was fast and nice though.
Overall, a fairly safe option if you’re craving BBQ and not wanting to drive far. Won’t knock your socks off, but gets the job done.

Great food! Great staff! We come through Versailles during hunting season a lot and discovered this hidden gem. I love BBQ and go whenever I get a chance to all the big well known places… I put Gilberts right up there with them!!!

Where to start bbq sauce tasted like kc masterpiece. Tasted no smoke the season was not the best. Mac an cheese tasted dishwater. wings were freezer burnt an slight taste of Buffalo sauce not edible. Overall will not return for the money that was spent an the quality of food.

Most amazing tasting Coleslaw i’ve ever eaten at a restaurant!!. If you like kfc coleslaw you will like his. Had a pulled pork sandwich. It was great too.
