Enjoyed an exceptional late Valentine’s dinner here! Walked in right at 5 with a small crowd of other early diners. We were seated in the bar dining room, within view and earshot of the counter service, which added to the lively, romantic atmosphere.
So many mentions: beef carpaccio, oysters with mignonette, green salad, chicken marsala WITH focaccia to soak up the sauce, root vegetables. A bottle of red wine to warm the evening after a Negroni and Americano to open the palate.
An excellent selection of Amari is the icing on the cake, and our server gave us a number of recommendations. Don’t miss the tiramisu, obviously.
Oddly, they do not offer espresso. What Italian spot doesn’t have espresso!
Regardless, come early, come late, but come to Gigi’s in Candler Park!

Easily a spot to remember, the tiramisu absolutely lives up to the hype.
We really just came for the tiramisu but decided to try the Beef Carpaccio and House Focaccia (which pair really well together) along with the house red wine… and that was all amazing.
Now the tiramisu… I’m not a sweets person but I was told it was incredible and worthy of it’s reputation…. to which I must agree.
Lastly, the entire staff was very accommodating. This was a special night and they did everything they could to realize it for us so thank you to everyone for this.

We ate here on a Monday night for my wife’s birthday. The food was all good, but overpriced in my opinion. We had the green salad, beef carpaccio, focaccia, chicken marsala, and sopresine pasta. It was all good, but nothing amazing. The service and atmosphere were both phenomenal.

Tiramisu is worth the hype. Steak was cooked really well although they didn’t ask for preference. Not a full bar so limited drinks for cocktails. The polenta cakes were fine, crispy potatoes were surprisingly good. Biggest complaint is service – just didn’t feel very attentive in general. You would expect better service with the vibe being intimate and cozy.

I love Gigi’s!! It’s beautiful and cozy inside with great food every time. In my recent visit, the beef carpaccio, polenta cakes, pasta with Italian sausage/squash/mushrooms, and tiramisu were very good. Great food, great service, great atmosphere.

5 stars across the board! Did have to set an alarm for a weekend reservation, but worth it! Got one of every appetizer to share with my group and a tiramisu of course.

Definitely some of the best food you can get in Atlanta. They’re also very accommodating with food allergies (gluten and tree nuts). Basically everything on their menu is gluten free except their two pasta options and tiramisu.

what a find! our evening could not have been better start to finish. I love a small, local, community restaurant and Gigi’s is spot on! we were fortunate to get a reservation on a busy holiday weekend and immediately felt at home in the front window corner. Gigi’s knows the importance of quality ingredients, local sourcing, and a seasonal menu. old school neighborhood Italian decor, an environment that feels more family than staff, and community efforts make Gigi’s a staple for us.

Fantastic attention to detail in every regard. We sat at the bar for the first time, and it was fabulous. A little closer to the action. The food offerings were some of the best we’ve ever had at Gigi‘s. Do not skip the tiramisu! Highly recommend!

One of our very favorite Italian restaurants – they always have the most interesting takes on different dishes. What’s better, the menu is constantly changing, so there is always something new to try. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the inside has a very cozy, intimate feel. Extremely cozy – the seating is incredibly limited, so we would definitely recommend having a reservation. We can’t wait to return again!
