Gi Gi is often behind the bar and brings a warm and friendly vibe.
p.s. drinks are strong and DELICIOUS.
The location is a bit weird, as part of a hotel, but it’s well worth getting off the main strip for this quality.
I’ll probably be ending a bunch of ski days here.
Family run. Gigi is awesome you will spot her immediately out of the crowd.
Don’t miss this incredible restaurant in a funky location.
Waitress immediately came over when I got back from the bathroom. She said she doesn’t like the soap, or something about that bathroom, so she washes her hands in the restaurant. She obviously felt the need to stand up for herself and told us she’s food service certified then asked if we were ready for the check. Didn’t ask if we needed anything else or thank us for coming in. Wish I had taken a photo of the cheesesteak fries, fries themselves were good but the plating looked like a 6 year old threw it together.
This was Old Chicago’s & we wanted to see what finally moved in after 5 years sitting vacant when the previous restaurant that did a nice remodel failed after a brief attempt. Remodel is still the same – it looks nice but is a loud atmosphere even with very few people, cement floors & corrugated aluminum panels. You would think they’d get business from those staying at the hotel but it was very empty, even on a Saturday night during Spring Break when the rest of the County is packed. Overpriced, especially when all you’re serving is chicken, but have to cover the overhead somehow for that 6,000 sqft lease.
Read the reviews, almost all of them are for their food truck out of Buena Vista. …running a restaurant is a completely different ball game it seems they are not yet prepared for…
