Wow- cannot say enough about how GOOD this was!!! The chicken had so much flavor… crispy, perfect amount of spice, and even reheated nicely. Loved the Mac and cheese – very cheesy and great flavor. I got the ribs and that was my favorite. . It was well done with some good BBQ sauce. Can’t wait to eat from here again.

My wife got chicken wings, yams and mac and cheese. I got 2 BBQ ribs and a mustard rib. The flavor was normal. Nothing special. My wife thought they were good. The red beans and rice are similar to Popeyes (to my taste)….and the mac and cheeses is EXCELLENT.

Gibson’s food is absolutely delicious. I placed a catering order with them for 6 dozens wings, full pan of linguine salad, potato salad, and green beans. The food was prepared and available the time I indicated I would pick it up. Everyone at the party I purchased it for thoroughly enjoyed the food (as well as myself). If you need to host an event, make sure to go here. The food is phenomenal, and the staff/owner are fantastic. Just email Amelia Collin’s with your questions concerning the food, date you need it for, and the cost. Ms. Collin’s will respond back within 24/48 hours with the availability and cost. No hidden fee’s associated with invoice. Just know they are a cash only business though. No credit cards accepted. BTW you can just call in or walk-in for pick-up only to get an individual meal. I have frequented this business for that also, but needed catering this time around.

The food at Gibson’s is consistently good. If you want a home cooked tasting meal, this is the place. It’s take out only and cash only. Parking can be a little tough because the lot is small. Worth the trip.

I had some decent food! I enjoyed the ribs and macaroni and cheese. I would’ve loved the cabbage but it was very peppery and I didn’t taste any meat in them but I did eat some of it. I missed the smothered pork chops and I will be back to try those . A decent meal and reasonably priced.

Delicious, baked chicken was seasoned, tender and juicy. The mac and cheese was seasoned and the cheese was throughout. Now the sweet potatoes were not too sweet and flavored just right. Real soul food at a reasonable price. Loved it!
