Visiting family from out of town. This was my first time visit here. Midway was having their Fall festival and we sat outside on the patio so we could listen to the live music. We ordered the Belgium pasta and enjoyed the penne with pesto alfredo and grilled chicken. The pork chop with the peach sauce and fingerling potatoes was very good. Would recommend that dish to anyone.

Really Great food! Really Great Drinks! Outstanding service!! After talking with our Fantastic Server, Paula, we discovered that they have been through a few menu changes since they originally opened. That change is good, very good. Very tasty. I had the peach glazed pork chop, just a touch of sweet, and thick cut… Phenomenal! It was served with fingerling potatoes and shaved brussel sprouts, that were seasoned and roasted perfectly. I started with the house salad, they have all house made dressings. Their warm bacon vinaigrette was the perfect balance of tangy, sweet, and luscious smoky, salty, bacon! Mike kept us feeling good, with some awesome drinks, and exemplary service…. The aesthetics inside and outside are fun and well worth looking around. It was clean and welcoming. A fantastic experience. If you are in the area, or even if you are not, it is worth a detour to stop by and have a great time!

The place where everyone knows your name . A grear cozy bar & restaurant. Where you can meet people who are warm and friendly an the food is awesome! A great restaurant upstairs. An a nice cozy bar downstairs. The staff are friendly an hardworking. An they care about their customers. The menu has alot of great dishes on it an there are plenty of great drinks an a couple tvs to watch sports on. Karaoke on friday an Saturday 8pm to 12 am . Lots of great singers an plenty of regulars who are always ready to have a drink or dinner an great conversation and plenty of parking in the quiet, cozy town of Midway.

Sooo we tried this place because my boyfriend seen it being advertised on TV, and he felt like the food looked really good. We decided to go try it….I wasn’t impressed at all. The staff was very nice and accommodating. I feel this place is completely over priced. The food isn’t even mediocre. The atmosphere is Great, which seems like that’s what your paying for more than anything. I guess its that small town dine out feeling. However, the food isn’t what I thought it was going to be. We won’t be returning. Definitely will try something else in the area. The best thing was the bread and butter that was brought to the table. I was really surprised about the utensils, they need to be replaced immediately.

Poutine fries were good. Ask for the BBQ sauce in the side. The beet salad was amazing. Hubby got a club sandwich and it was basic sandwich nothing special. Service was slow. But we did come during the fall festival. Had to ask status of beer though as waitress forgot.

Stop by for a quick lunch on Sunday afternoon. We decided to sit outside so we could also enjoy the weather. The food and service were to die for. For starters, we had fried green tomatoes and chicken wings. Following that, we tried the whole hog burger, which was one of the best I’ve ever eaten. Definitely enough for two people. We highly recommend trying this place out.

We ordered: Castle Gin & Tonic & An Old Fashioned for drinks. Both were great. Muscles and Fried Green Tomatoes for appetizers. The 14Oz Ribeye and Sea Scallops for the main course one with the dinner salad and one with a Caesar Salad.
The appetizers were good. The Muscles had a delicious broth that was great for dipping the bread in. We really enjoyed that.
The Caesar salad was different. It had peppercinis in it.
The Ribeye was cooked perfectly and had great flavor and seasoning.
The Scallops were good, but the risotto that came with them was the best I’ve ever tasted! I think it was the best part of the meal.
Overall the experience was timley, comfortable, and satisfying. I would recommend giving this place a try. And if you like risotto, you will love it here!
