We moved in a neighborhood and walked in Giardino’s at the first time. We ordered a whole pizza and some wings. Our pizza dough was a thick bread type, fresh, flavorful, and not oily at all; we loved it! We enjoyed wings too with 2 flavors. They make to order so that the waiting time seemed slightly longer, but loved their service and the foods. With Relaxing atmosphere, will go back again. 🙂

After one decent experience, we tried three more over a course of a few months all of which yielded terrible results. The pizza so greasy that we used so many napkins to try and soak it up that a quarter of the table was covered. My son received flat sprite twice, neither of which times the employees could fix the carbonation. They only have a few beer taps, but one time I ordered a beer I am very familiar with it came warm and tasting like rust was in the lines, another time they couldn’t figure out how to turn on the tap. There is never a manager on duty, and the grilling staff are not well kept. They do, however, claim to deliver beer.

I used to really enjoy this place and even recommended it to many people but I will make sure to go back and correct that mistake. I have had them deliver food twice and both times it has been wrong. I didn’t complain about the 1st time but when I went to call about the 2nd time they treated me as if I was stupid for not being happy and refused to do anything to correct the situation. I called as soon as I got my food to let them know they had forgotten something and they said they would send the delivery person back out but an hour and a half later when he still hadn’t shown up I called again. This time I just asked for a manager and almost did not get to speak to him. The owner would not speak to me. They advised me they were closing and there was nothing they could do for me. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. I guess that’s how they think too!

Unfortunately, I have had multiple problems with this pizza place. While the quality of the food isn’t terrible, the service is lackluster. For delivery, the order will take longer than expected and quoted. I was told my pizza would arrive in 30-45 minutes. It arrived after 1 hour and 20 minutes, needless to say it was cold. Furthermore, the delivery individual did not have my apartment number and had my neighbor search the complex by shouting “pizza delivery”. The service doesn’t show much improvement when “dining in”. I have had orders take longer than expected to be served, and a “chicago style deep dish” that was served undercooked and cold. Overall, this location has left disappointed.

Great pizza and bread sticks. I was reluctant to try this place out and after much hassling from the family I decided to finally try it. I ordered a calzone and LOVED it! None of us finished our meals and the price was amazing! Would definitely return here again.

I have put up with their terrible service and so-so food for many years, but tonight was the last straw. I called in an order of a large pizza and salad for pickup. They said it would be ready in 20 minutes. When I got there at the 30 minute mark, it was not ready but I paid. Then at the 40-minute mark they told me that “either they forgot to make it or their driver took it by accident.” They said I could wait for them to start a pizza, and did not like it when I said I wouldn’t pay for the salad and wanted a full refund. After a long day of soccer games and with two very hungry kids, this is the last thing I needed. I am officially boycotting Giardino’s from now on. I will never go back. They do not have their act together enough to actually be called a full-service restaurant. I am going to encourage everyone I know to boycott Giardino’s.

I eat the sub’s here several times per week and love them. It’s very fresh food, and when dining-in they include free bread sticks.
I have never had food quality problems while at giardinos. The sub’s are better than the other places serving sandwich along Jackson.

I had the unfortunate experience of ordering pizza at the Schaumburg Giordano’s on March 19, 2016. We happened to be in town for a soccer tournament, and there was a Giordano’s that shared a parking lot with our hotel. Giordano’s seemed like an easy choice. It wasn’t.
I ordered and made payment through the Giordano’s website and walked across the parking lot an hour and a half later when the website told me my pizza would be ready. It seemed to be a newly opened restaurant, and they didn’t have all the bugs worked out. I could tell by listening to the phone conversations and the talk between employees that there were many problems in the kitchen. Orders were going out late or being prepared incorrectly, or not at all. It turned out mine was one of them.
After a 45 minute wait in the restaurant and several assurances that my order would be “just another minute,” an embarrassed manager finally came out and admitted to the problems they were having in the kitchen. He told me that they hadn’t even started making my pizza. He apologized and offered to make my pizza for free and deliver it to my hotel room. I accepted his offer. It took almost 4 hours after I placed my order, but, ultimately, I was eating Giordano’s pizza. All seemed well.
When I checked my Visa bill the next month, I saw the Giordano’s charge I authorized with my online order, but there was no credit. I didn’t get a free pizza after all. So, I went to the Giordano’s website, and told them my sad story on their feedback page. I asked them to honor their manager’s promise of a free pizza given my bad experience. Within an hour, a Giordano’s employee called me. He, too, was apologetic and assured me he would honor the promise of a free pizza. He took my credit card number, and told me he would take care of it.
A second Visa bill has come, and still there is no credit from Giordano’s. I’ve given up hope of getting my free pizza. Giordano’s seems good at admitting their mistakes and saying all the right things to atone for them, but they just don’t follow through. Despite all the assurances, they didn’t treat this customer right. My order was less than $30, but the lesson I learned about the people who work there was more valuable. Pizza places in Chicago are a dime a dozen. I suggest finding one other than Giordano’s.

Although the staff was friendly I will most likely NOT return. They should stick to pizza and subs. We decided to order the shrimp scampi over angel hair pasta dish. Well when it came we first noticed that it was just over spaghetti noodles then it got worse from there. Hardly any sauce or flavor, it tasted a little strang actually. My partner kept trying to eat it but he felt ill. Then we realized that none of the shrimp had been “devained” and we’re pretty packed. Disgusting and at $14.00 COME ON.
I would have made a bother about it but we were all tired, the few employees seemed very young and our daughter was with us. She enjoyed her cheesy garlic bread sticks but not her pizza. We were all disappointed and this was NOT an inexpensive meal.

Received poor customer service, harassed by the business owner, staff is poorly trained in handling customers in times of need. When they are short staff, they tend to short their customers on proper etiquette and restaurant kindness. Only received part of my order, yet was charged for the full thing even after watching an additional 20 minutes for my order. I work in customer service, and have for the last 7 years, never in my life have I experienced or been apart of such terrible circumstances, that were handled so poorly.
