My wife and I are wrapping up a three month stay in SMA and I didn’t want to leave before posting a review for Giardino Toscano. We ate at the restaurant and we also did take out three other times. We tried different pizzas and they were all really good. We ate at quite a few excellent restaurants while in SMA but chef Gaetano’s pizzas and tiramisu kept us coming back. The restaurant is really nice and relaxing and I’m guessing everything else on the menu is also really good. But I really appreciate a really good pizza and I am so happy we found Giardino Toscano!

What a nice surprise. It’s such a lovely and charming space with delicious food and wonderful service. We had a caprese salad and a pepperoni pizza which were really, really good. The wine by the glass was excellent. It’s like being cared for in a quiet garden by people who really care and eating delicious food. It’s at the top of our return to list.

My husband and I, he a Chicago native and me from the cheese state ~Wisconsin know our pizza!
Truly and we could not have had a more delicious meal than we had when we came to Giordano Toscana.
The invitingly atmosphere was magical and Manuel our waiter was devine, charming and attentive.
We were there early and It was spot on and even enjoyed watching the beautiful montage of other destinations known for their Italian cuisine.
I’ve got to tell you we are close to deciding on moving there for good and knowing that this is literally right down the street may just tip it our decision in that favor. Thank you again to the whole staff. We had the most wonderful time this was just five nights ago. October 15th.The evening was a true delight, bravo, bravo Bellissimo!
Let’s all enjoy these wonderful local, quaint restaurants and keep them around for years to come.

Don’t let looks deceive you as you enter. The food was good for the price. Pizza was good. The lasagna had too much oregano. Excellent service. No wait.

It was my birthday and last evening in San Miguel and I happened to stumble across this gem of a place on my way back up the hill to my room at Casa Frida. It was late afternoon and honestly I just had a drink as I admired the atmosphere of the place and rested from my walk. I had reservations at a very nice rooftop restaurant for the evening but knew this is where I wanted to have my last dinner in San Miguel. So that evening, after watching the sunset nearby, I came in for dinner.
I’m not quite sure how more people weren’t there, but I enjoyed the ambiance, and intimacy of the place. The music was great and the owner, chef Gaetano from Italy was amazing and kind. I ordered the pizza which he prepared himself in the brick oven nearby. It was phenomenal and the crust was crispy and perfect. I saved a little room for dessert since it was my birthday and had the home made tiramisu. It almost stole the show! Delicioso! Do not sleep on this magnificent restaurant. It was my favorite restaurant in San Miguel and a perfect ending to my stay and birthday. Thank you, Gaetano! It was a pleasure meeting you, my friend. Until next time.
P.S. He is working on a temascal and hot tub that will be open at some point soon.

Delicious pizza! Best we have had since Italy. Cooked in a wood fired brick oven. Very nice atmosphere – lighting, music, and greenery. Service was perfect. Very nice people!

This is definitely a hidden gem! The ambience is so ‘Italian’ and the homemade pasta’s and pizza’s were amazing. In addition, the service was friendly!

Had a lovely dinner here! The fettucini carbonara and tiramisu were both delicious (the fettucini is made in house). The server, Manuel, was delightful and added to the charm of the place. The prices are very fair. Highly recommend!

What a lovely hidden gem. It’s wonderful to watch the absolutely delicious pizza cooking in the large brick pizza oven.
We also had the pasta which was quite good as well. The tiramisu is truly special and the service so friendly and kind. The garden is very pretty, we loved it our second visit as much as our first. We will be back.

Hidden up into a hill, this place is a great surprise that differs from the many fancy, pretentious restaurants that can’t compete with their authentic pizza. The staff was amazing and very understanding when our payment method didn’t work, they were patient while we managed to solve the issue.
