I always loved Giant Eagles Bakery Donuts,but I baught some this past Wednesday. The apple fritters had lots of apple pieces but no taste and they were drown in sugar glaze, witch made them hard and tasteless. This was not like the Bakery goods I know and loved. Just one opinion. I’m very disappointed that everything has to drown in frosting or sugar glaze.

This bakery the Groveport location is HORRIBLE. They don’t follow directions the cakes are always lopsided. Flavors HORRIBLE. So I will just travel 30 minutes to my regular Giant eagle bakery on Stelzer Rd. they NEVER disappoint.

As always..Giant Eagle sets the standard on grocery shopping..always have carts pre-cleaned for customers and they recommend customers to wear masks to protect the public. Great job Giant Eagle..however, for Giant Eagle to be a proud sponsor on the Pittsburgh STEELERS..at this location, there is no sign of STEELERS apparel..just CLOWNS..hopefully that will change after this post.

I pre-ordered a KING CAKE for our office MARDI GRAS PARTY which is supposed to have a baby in it. The person who gets the piece gets the “LUCKY BABY” , all the beads and brings the KING CAKE next year,. I went to pick it up , It was really small, the container was all messy so I had to transfer it to something else for the party. Which at the time I was still good, I just made cupcakes and decorated them, put it all in a party carrier and away i went. To my dismay there was no baby with or in my cake….. but… no one said anything so I thought it was inside. So peak of the party NO BABY!! NO PRIZE!! I preceeded to call the bakary and she just said matter of factly quote I RAN OUT OF BABIES!! No baby No apology Nothing! WOW!! I KNOW I WILL NOT BE USING GIANT EAGLE BAKARY FOR ANY SPECIAL OCCASIONS AGAIN.
