Kayla was great. Food was just Ok not hot until I asked for hot crab legs. Imitation seafood when charging 45 plus per person is scandalous…
Overall we could have spent 130 bucks for dinner for two and had a better experience. Ended up getting souvenir cups ( meh) I don’t need a memory of not so good food !

Beautiful place to eat, it was decorated for Christmas inside, so pretty. Loved the huge selection of food, oh my goodness you can’t walk out of there hungry. Delicious!!

It was good. The food was good. It seemed a bit expensive to me for what they offer. I was expecting so much move than what was here. Only one choice of “crabs” alot of the seafood dishes were immitation..ive been to other seafood buffet and this one seemed mediocre. The photo ops are nice though and the gift shop is adorable. Overall it was a positive experience.

Food was not good at all very over rated and my family will not be returning.. it’s nice set up and the waitress was nice but the food was so bland and crabs. My kids didn’t even like the dessert… also let me end with this my self and both my kid were on the toilet soon as we left and got back to the hotel… literally clenching otw there because our stomach was all messed up. Again I will not be returning and had I have read the reviews before going I wouldn’t have went! Now Hooks is a very good restaurant if you’re looking for great seasoned buffet style seafood. And you won’t be sick after eating it. That’s the place to go.

Our family of four went to Giant Crab expecting a great buffet experience. We tried a wide range of food—crab legs, oysters, salmon, you name it. Everything looked decent, but shortly after eating, things went downhill fast.
Three of us ended up extremely sick—two were throwing up the next day, and I had severe stomach issues all night. It completely ruined the rest of our vacation. This wasn’t just mild food poisoning symptoms—this was bad.
To top it off, we paid over $200 for this disaster. And when we thought it couldn’t get worse, we found mold growing on a strawberry from the dessert section. I have a picture to prove it.
This place made us feel not only sick but robbed. For the price and the condition of the food, this was absolutely unacceptable. Eat at your own risk—we certainly won’t be coming back.

We just finished up an incredible feast at the seafood buffet, and I had to immediately write a review for our phenomenal waiter, Sterling. Honestly, his service turned a great meal into an exceptional dining experience.
At a buffet, keeping tables clean is key, and Sterling was a ninja—our used plates disappeared the moment we set them down, giving us maximum space for the next round of crab legs and shrimp. He was incredibly attentive, making sure our drinks were always full without us ever having to signal him.
Beyond the efficiency, Sterling was genuinely friendly and personable. He checked in at the perfect times, made us feel welcome, and was clearly working hard to make every patron happy. His professionalism and positive attitude truly elevated the entire visit. If you are dining here, do yourself a favor and request Sterling. He’s an absolute credit to your team!

This is my favorite place in Myrtle Beach for seafood. My sister and I have to use walkers, and the young woman who greeted us tried to put us at the back of a separated room, telling us a bus was coming to use that room. It was as far as we could be from the buffet. We were going to leave, but a wonderful older waitress with an accent (German?) took us to a room closer to the buffet. She treated us like royalty, and when I gave her a good tip she came to the door to thank us profusely. I hope if we go there again, we get to see her. I only wish I had gotten her name.

Well the food is the best out of most of the all you can eat buffets in Myrtle. We really enjoy this place. The food taste and quality is really outstanding. And the servers are wonderful.
I’m marking a 3 out of 5 stars for service for one simple reason. They list their close time as 9PM but closed their doors before we got their at 8:23PM. That is a huge pet peeve of mine coming from the service industry. If you want everyone out by 9PM you list your close time as 8PM. You don’t list your close time as 9PM and close your doors at 8PM. That is a huge No-No and deserves the rating.
