My husband and I were there last week for the first time and will not be the last. Food was amazing Tortellini Alfredo, Spaghetti Meatballs and Pizza. Our waitress was amazing just buzzing about as probably short staff but done a fantastic job. We did wait for a while for our food but well worth waiting for.

I cannot express how amazing this food was. I had their Alfredo tortellini with chicken and the food was wonderfully served and tasted so well I would have gladly dined there again if we were in town for longer. Our server was very friendly and service was fast. Whenever I go back to Litchfield, I will be sure to patron this restaurant again.

Excellent, authentic food options. Nice sized portions. The tiramisu was amazing!! Obviously family owned and operated and they take pride in what they do. The owners came out and interacted with almost everyone (or so it seemed) and were genuinely interested in what people thought. One owner had a lengthy conversation with the family next to us that sounded like regulars and had ordered a ‘new’ dish they were trying out. It is a small place so make sure to allow a little time in case they are out of tables but make sure to wait because it’s worth it!

It was our first time there, but it won’t be the last. We had the large stuffed pizza and it did not disappoint! This is a real Italian pizza restaurant! I spoke with a obvious Italian owner, telling her that we happened to be passing through the area and tried them. She was genuinely concerned with my satisfaction in their product, like someone with ‘skin in the game’ would be. I only wished I had taken a picture of it before we devoured it! It will be a common destination, when we are in the area. Definitely, recommend it!!

The food here is authentic Italian and absolutely delicious. I had a take out order or lasagna and garlic bread and it was fantastic. The owner is a good guy and helpful.

My family and I ate dinner here on Saturday night. The atmosphere was delightful. Old, wooden backed chairs, reminiscent of Frank Lloyd Wright, nice art on the walls, a very family oriented establishment. When the food arrived, however, Gianni’s Italian Restaurant became a place of legend in our minds, a restaurant we won’t soon forget. My partner and I ordered calzones, our son ordered the cheese sticks, and my father ordered spaghetti and meat balls. All four of us lost our freaking minds at how delicious our dinner was. Our seven year old even tried the homemade marinara (something out of character for him, as he is seven and doesn’t like to try new foods). He INSISTED that I try the marinara, as well as his cheese sticks, both of which were ridiculously tasty. As for our calzones, my wife and I could not decide what we liked the most, the fillings, the sauce, or the bread, which I would characterize as light and flaky and amazing. Seriously, if this restaurant were in my home town of Little Rock, it would outshine our local calzonearia, Vino’s, which, until last night, was my favorite spot to order a calzone. Not anymore. Gianni’s Pizza and Italian Ristorante in Licthfield, Illinois is now the best calzone I’ve ever tasted.

Good food in Litchfield. Quick and friendly service, not very busy at the time. My small pizza was perfectly done. My friend’s calzone was a monster. Looked pretty good from my side of the table. He loved it!

Fantastic pizza! I travel quite a bit for my job and this is one of the best pizzas I’ve had out on the road. Pizza has amazing flavor the cheese sauce all of it very good. I would highly this place for pizza if you’re in the area. I will be back before I leave town for sure!
