Absolutely exquisite! We were thrilled to find this hidden gem! It occupies the top floor of the owner’s home and offers those fortunate guests the opportunity to view the beautiful coastline of Malta from there at their table. Servers presented us with some of the fresh- caught fish to choose from and then prepared it to our specifications. It was an unforgettable meal! The food is perfectly fresh and delicious!

Lovely quirky place. Good food. Only thing that let it down was a waitress feeling is we had Pavlova which it wasn’t. Foundant was served. She then proceeded to tells us we had ordered fondant which we hadn’t. Other than that it was a good experience. Loved the views. Food was good. Would go back again.

The view from Giannini’s was breathtaking. We got pampered right from the start with attention to every detail. The food was delicious and the chef’s specials were definitely the right choice. Be careful what you order, though. If you go for the catch or the day make sure you ask for the price as we were surprised by the high price of our rock fish. We were happy regardless.

Wonderful view, the service is perfect. Fresh fish and seafood are absolutely delicious! Pasta perfectly cooked and the meat is top quality. The desserts look stunning and taste even better. Highly recommend but make a reservation as it is a rather small restaurant.

We had a late lunch and boy was it impressive. First of all, it’s way up in the hills of Valetta so you’re not likely to see any tourists. We were presented tableside fresh Snapper and Langoustine. I had the Tagliatelle with Veal Ragout which was incredible. The Octopus Carpacio was one of the best I’ve had and my family sells it in our restaurant shaved just like they do. And don’t even get me started on the dessert. Just look at it!

2 out of 5 is the maximum I could give. I read so many positive reviews and I’m super disappointed from what I’ve seen and experienced inside.
Starters: 1) mozarrella di buffala – it was standard mozzarella not the buffala, no taste, lack of freshness; 2) beef carpaccio – cuts very thick and chewy, as far as I understand carpaccio should melt in your mouth.
Main, fish, seabass. If you order fish I feel that it should be filleted in front of you, so you know what you are eating. Instead I got a fish ready to eat on my plate…covered with tomatoes sauce I didn’t ask for. The fish was very tiny, a portion for one and it was charged surprisingly 60€ (fish that I didn’t see the size before). I’ve been in many restaurants in Malta and it feels like a clear fraud. Example – the next day we went to Porto Vecchio restaurant and the food not only was much better quality, but also for 150euros (same price as Giannini) we fed four people with coffees and desserts.
For plus is a great service in your place and good selections of wine.

Centre cut fillet with mushrooms was huge and excellent. Swordfish carpaccio and squid was lovely, if a little over oiled, King Prawns were beautifully prepared. Banoffee was not memorable.
