This is the first time I have ever wrote a review on anything in my entire life. But I told my husband I feel the need to leave you guys a review about the cake you did for us today. It was for my daughter’s baptism. I had sent a bunch of different photos to show her what I wanted, and changed my mind a couple of times. I wanted something specific. She NAILED IT. It was so beautiful and tasted AMAZING (and I’m not a cake person. I always pass on the cake when offered). So delicious and perfect consistency. Everything surpassed my expectations! The cake chef is so talented. This is our 3rd time getting a cake with you. We had my sons birthday cake made last month – and again, it was delicious and beautifully made (Spider-Man cake). We will always only use you guys for our cakes! Thank you so much!

Love stopping here whenever passing through Ledgewood! My husband and I had a backyard wedding with friends, and all chose our own small personal cakes as well as an assortment of finger desserts to choose from. Everything was divine! They have more than just desserts though. When you walk in, there is a beautiful display of baked breads, meat pastries and a hot/cold entrees & sides counter. So many options to choose from, sweet and savory and all delicious! If you’ve never been here you absolutely must stop, you won’t regret it.

I moved to the area about a year ago and was looking for a local bakery. I was so happy to find Giancarlo’s! I actually worked for the owner when I was in high school when he owned a different bakery and was so happy to see that he owned a new place locally as his baking is unlike any other. Giancarlo’s is the best in the area for sure. So many amazing bakery items to choose from at reasonable prices. You know you’ll always get fresh and high quality baked goods. I really enjoy the coffee cakes, Philly fluff cake, lemon bundt cake, taralles, chocolate strawberry short cake, and cannoli cake! Additionally, the deli section is incredible. My wife and I frequently buy lunch from there. Their chicken cutlet sandwiches and wraps are delicious. The staff is always so friendly and helpful, especially Mike the manager. We find ourselves in there at least once a week and will continue to go there whenever we need a baked good or a bite to eat. Strongly recommend going even if you don’t live in the area it’s worth the trip!

First time there. Everything’s fresh. The chicken salad & grilled vegetables were very tasty. For an Italian bakery, they have rugalah, humantashen & other popular Jewish-style pastries. Considering the size of the bakery, they manage to have a varied menu of savory and sweet.

When I visit New Jersey near Ledgewood, this is a must stop the bakery items are wonderful and many, many choices. I didn’t get any food there but they offer sandwiches and cooked meals and everything looked really good. Alway a bit of a crowd in this very excellent bakery/meals.

The only place I have ever found home made cornish pasties and savory “british style” pies (as in the filling is completely encased in pastry, not just a puff pastry lid on a foil tray of pie filling). Both are amazing. The deli counter makes fresh sandwiches, cakes and desserts all look fantastic.
