Sad news that our favorite waiter “Gio” is not there…
Giana Restaurant + Bar never disappoints. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented — especially the parmesan bread and meatballs, which are unreal. Every time I come here, the quality and consistency are top-tier. Cant forget the chicken and waffles with hot honey and the Salmon bowl!
The service is friendly, fast, and makes you feel welcome, and the atmosphere is perfect whether you’re coming for a brunch, casual meal or a nice night out.
Every week they have specialty on the menu keep a look out on there Instagram.
If you’re looking for great food, great vibes, and a place you’ll want to come back to again and again, this is it.
One neat thing on the specials menu was a “pick two” option: soup with either a salad or half sandwich, which I thought was a nice feature. We ended up ordering the salmon burger, French onion soup, bang bang shrimp, tuna melt, salad and sandwich combo, and the short rib Mexican bowl.
The highlights were definitely the French onion soup, flavorful but not overly salty and the short rib bowl, which had fresh ingredients and generous portions. The rest of the dishes were fine, just a bit underwhelming. Nothing bad, just okay.
Unfortunately, I had to send back the tuna melt. The tuna didn’t taste fresh, and the sourdough was soggy from the tomato. I was hoping for a more toasted sandwich. It also had an overly fishy smell and taste, maybe from cross-contamination with the salmon burger or just off tuna. Also the bang bang shrimp came with such a small portion of rice. It almost felt like there shouldn’t be rice at all.
I’d be curious to try more from their menu since it’s quite large. Maybe dinner is better. Overall, it’s a decent spot, good service and nice atmosphere but the food wasn’t anything extraordinary.
Even the response from the owner I received after this review was unprofessional and defensive. Customers have the right to critique if they have a negative experience.
The meals were AMAZING. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich and it was crispy, juicy, and honestly one of the best I’ve had. The portions were great and the food came out hot and fresh.
The staff was super friendly, and the overall vibe was really nice. I’d definitely come back for lunch again — highly recommend!
We stopped off after golfing to catch the bruins game and the team accommodated us nicely. We were checked on regularly to make sure we had everything we needed
Would definitely recommend grabbing a seat at the bar to sit with them.
