My son ordered the lamb dish, which was the Saturday dinner Today’s Special, and it turned out to be a huge mistake. In the early hours of the next morning, he began violently vomiting and had severe diarrhea. He spent the entire night suffering from food poisoning and eventually had to go to urgent care.
This experience completely ruined our weekend trip. Instead of enjoying our vacation, he was confined to bed all day Sunday trying to recover. This was not a minor stomach issue — it was serious enough to require medical attention.
I will never return to this restaurant, and I strongly discourage anyone from dining here. No meal is worth this kind of risk.

My family and I took my mom here for her birthday. I’ve always wanted to try this place and this was the perfect opportunity. The charming decor was very homey and welcoming. With tons of options on their menu, it was hard to pick just one. I opted for the steak and eggs, which was delicious. The steak was cooked to perfection. It comes with potatoes and the steak is served on a bed of water cress. A special shout out to Amanda, our server. She went above and beyond and even served us a dessert on the house for my mom, candle and all! She was very sweet and attentive. Definitely coming back here.

Food and service were exceptional! A few of is ordered the Fungo toast, which I would recommend. Other orders included steak & eggs, mushroom risotto, a frittata. Everyone loved their food. Our sever, Aaron, was great – very friendly and patient with our large group.

My husband and I dined in for dinner while visiting the area. The atmosphere is casual but elevated and the service is very warm and friendly. The food was truly outstanding! Note that the portions are sharing size for both sides, salads, and entrees. An absolute delightful dining experience!

As much as I’d love to gatekeep this place, it deserves all the attention. if I could give Giana’s 10 stars I would. We have been here countless times, and will continue to come back over and over again. I’ve never had a bad meal here. They have an amazing pastry chef who comes up with the most delicious and creative pastries each morning. I could eat these pastries every day. I’ve been here for both lunch and dinner repeatedly, every meal, appetizer and dessert is so delicious and fresh. The staff and owner here are all amazing and so kind. I don’t have a single bad thing to say, I hope Giana’s stays this way forever because they are incredible.

I have to come back to try the dinner service at Giana’s! I stopped in on my morning walk to grab a danish and was so surprised by the lovely vibes and decor inside. The staff was lovely and the danish was so so so delicious! I can’t wait to go back and try more!

This was one of the best Italian experiences I’ve ever had! The food was delicious, and was fresh and hot. We had special requests and a little trouble, but the staff was very helpful and we figured it recommend. While quite pricey, was very wonderful. Very recommended: risotto al pomodoro with steak. Highly recomend.

We visited for breakfast and found a charming restaurant with a diverse menu catering to different tastes. Both the food and service were excellent, and the staff were very friendly. One suggestion for improvement would be to include pictures of the dishes on the menu, as we weren’t familiar with some items and had to Google them. We ordered the egg pomodoro and the salsiccia pizza, and both the prices and portions were great.

I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. It was absolutely delicious. The sauce however was a little too soupy. I gf loved the avocado toast. The food was about as pricy as you would expect for Dana Pointe brunch. Overall good experience!
