We were here for a quick weekend trip having to go the convention center all weekend. We tried here because it was close by and I’m glad we did. The burgers were delicious and so were the other food that was ordered. For a burger joint I was happy with what I got and would eat here again if in the area. Overall, good experience.

We were in DC for a quick trip and happened upon Ghostburger. I love the order set up. We walked in and placed our order for dine in and found a nice little table. The food was really delicious. My only complaint is that there was no actual cheese available-American and “whiz” maybe there was blue cheese, but I’m not a blue cheese kind of person. So both me and my daughter opted for no “cheese” on our meals. The food was delicious. It was fresh. It was fast. The milkshake was tasty. I highly recommend – especially if you like “whiz.”

I highly recommend the Frenchie burger. It’s loaded with mushrooms and caramelized onions and Bleu cheese. Yum!

The interior is interesting. It’s got that downtown diner vibe. The service is very friendly.

This place is one of the options you have for meals if you’re visiting the Walter E. Convention Center. It was actually on my way to the parking garage, so I decided to try it. I wasn’t too hungry, but the good reviews about the shakes persuaded my legs in the direction of its entrance.

I quite like the decorations. The pink walls pop. The black and white tiles give a vintage vibe. The cement counters, neon logo, and subtle light balls all worked well together for me. The staff was friendly too. However, I’m afraid the shakes and sliders were mediocre. The sliders tasted okay, but it felt like I was served a microwavable one. The shake was too sweet for me. It’s an average American shake. The reviews deceived me. I probably won’t be back unless it’s for happy hour drinks and to talk.

Staff is great, attentive and sweet.
Food ia full of flavor and makes you want more. I enjoyed every bite. I had the Buffalo Bleu Chicken Sammy and Ghost fries. Dining room is clean. Decor is contemporary art with black and white floors and a pink accent to the theme. There’s a wheelchair ramp. My visit was immediately after a snow storm, so outside views weren’t ideal but I can forsee a livily summer vibe. That private dining area appears to have and pure street corner view, so watch the City come to Life.

We visited this restaurant expecting it to close at 10 PM, as listed on Google. We arrived around 9 PM, assuming we would have enough time to dine in comfortably. However, we were informed shortly after arriving (around 9:05 PM) that only takeout orders were being accepted because the seating area was already closed.

If the seating area closes around 9:30 or 9:45 PM, that’s understandable. But closing the dine-in service a full hour before the listed closing time is very misleading. It defeats the purpose of listing a 10 PM closing time if customers cannot actually dine in during that period.

We came from quite far away, excited to enjoy a meal here, especially given that it’s located in the heart of DC. It was disappointing to be told to order takeout almost immediately after arriving.

Clear communication about actual dine-in hours would really help avoid situations like this. Unfortunately, this did not feel like good service or good customer experience.

Every time I go to Ghost Burger, I truly enjoy the experience. The food is consistently good, but the cheesesteak is the standout. It is always fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. In my opinion, it is the best cheesesteak in the city. You can tell care goes into the preparation, and the quality never disappoints. This is a spot I can rely on every single time.

Philly burger and sandwich joint. Never too packed which is nice and adjacent to a lot of great bars. Went in on a Friday and sat at the bar. Didn’t know they had cocktails and drinks which was a pleasant surprise. Got the Buffalo blue chicken sandwich which was great.

Sorry about the photo of empty plates, the food was delicious! 5 star burgers for the price of McDonald’s. Get a signature cocktail to sip on as you devour your ghost burger and one of their delectable sides. Top it off with a sweet treat like their ghost crispy treat. Dine inside or out while you enjoy the history of DC.

Wonderful and chill atmosphere, great service. Then the burgers are probably the best I’ve had in DC, thus far! They even nailed the crispy fries. Absolutely delicious meal.
