It’s a cool hole in the wall type place. Very interesting locally sourced decor. Didnt try the coffee but the food was average. Definitely expected more honestly. A cool photo OP I guess. The gal cooking was really nice.

Hands down best burgers! And the street tacos hit the spot – great taste and quality. If coming through, you MUST stop in and grab a bite and check out the cool art. Kelly and Janice will take good care of you! Don’t forget to grab a coffee for the road on your way out!

This place is truly unique. I took a drive up to Pioche to check this place out. The owners are very personable and the food and art are awesome. I recommend taking a trip here to check out the one of a kind art and yummy food. I loved the Pioche Burger and I took home some Art.

This place is small with maybe 3 tables, they offer burgers, pork sandwiches, and soup. But if you are looking for a fancy coffee in the middle of nowhere for your road trip, they make that with a variety of flavors with fresh coffee. There is art all over the walls that the owner makes himself. Also, to all that lived Quite Riot in the 80’s the owner is the guy that started the group. Great history.

Friends were looking for a place to eat driving back to Vegas from Great Basin. We found this place on Yelp and was amazed. The place was nice and rustic, which fits the ghost town theme. The food was GREAT! I had a browny sundae. The browny was chewy and substential. My friends finished their burgers in no time and raved hard about it. I tried some of the cheesy soup and fries, the soup was definitely pleasantly unique. Owner and staff were friendly. We all want to come back and eat here when we explore the mines and what not.

A perfect cup of coffee along with an order of their famous street tacos that have an exceptional balance of spices and seasonings, is a wonderful way to end a day of hiking and exploration. The staff is both kind and helpful, bringing a sense of home with their prodessionalism. The art for sale is original and unique as is the artist who is available to answer even the most obscure questions. Highly recommend the this trip. It is worth the time.

The food is mediocre at best and the vibe was very unwelcoming. No one spoke to us for the first 15 minutes we were there, no one ever asked how our food was, or if we needed anything. Apparently you have to be one of the owner’s buddies to get any attention in this place, as those were the only people he engaged while we were there. The space is tiny, hot and cramped. The bathroom is in the back in the “kitchen” where the food was being prepared and the “kitchen” looked questionable. Save your money and go to the Historic Silver Cafe up the road, where the food is fresh and delicious and the service is friendly.

Great sourdough, cheese, and bacon burger. Jalapeno cheddar corn muffin was great with the potato cheddar soup! Eclectic, not your run of the mill experience. Refreshing to eat somewhere unique! Relaxed, quite atmosphere. Nice stop for lunch after camping in Spring Valley S.P.!
