This place is insanely good with huge portions. We got 3 meals each ordering butter chicken and spicy chilli biryani! The flavor is amazing too. Great vegetarian samosas and first time trying beef samosas which are amazing. Cashier was very helpful with it being our first time ordering and recommended excellent dishes. We will be back soon!

Cannot recommend this place enough. During my stay, atleast 1 meal was from here daily. Very cheap price for the quantity they offer. A lot of varieties available at all times. Zabiha halal meat. Parathas were excellent. Ordered their parathas with butter chicken, chicken biriyani, keema curry with paratha.
Open until late hours. Happy to know the history of the owner.
Cons: Restrooms were nasty. Minus 2 stars for that.

Very chill, and very reasonably priced establishment. Mohammed was very nice and took the time to answer all of my questions about the menu. He was very patient as I was placing my order and made me and my mother feel welcomed. I genuinely appreciate his great customer care.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Gareeb Nawaz. I found a roach in the chicken biryani after my kids and I had already eaten more than half of it. This is very disturbing and unacceptable, especially when children are eating the food. Cleanliness and food safety should be a basic priority. I hope the management takes this seriously and improves their hygiene standards.

This is my first time here!!! The food was amazing and made quickly! I got the butter chicken and my dad got the chicken curry bowl! We also ordered one of each samosa (chicken, beef and veg). I can’t find a single daily at this location. The prices were beyond reasonable and the portions were large!

It is reasonably priced Pakistani food, or at least some of the dishes are reasonably priced. We are unfamiliar with Pakistani food hence I wanted to try it while passing through Lombard. I had the butter chicken plate ($7.69). we ordered the shami kabob ($12 for 4 pieces) which was extremely hot and the ground beef was like paste. We could not eat the shami kabab because it was over hot. It was a waste and I don’t recommend it. We also ordered the Achar Ghost ($12) which was quite nice. The portions for the $12 dishes are very small. The chicken plates are quite good and good value because they come with a large paratha each.
