If you come to this place, you definitely need to ask for Philli. She’s one of the friendliest people you’ll ever meet and is truly beyond considerate. She’s extremely knowledgeable about the menu and always willing to help in any way she can—even with off-menu requests. We ordered the white pizza and a Caesar salad with added anchovies, and everything was decent. Philli made the whole experience better.

The food was absolutely delicious—just like the good old days. I’m thrilled to see the place under new ownership again, and it really shows. This new owner clearly cares about both the food and preserving this golden gem in North Lauderdale.
The chicken parmesan was to die for—packed with flavor and served in a portion so big it was almost overwhelming (in the best way!).
I was so happy to be able to book the back room. They even let you decorate it however you like, which made the night feel extra special.
We had the best time, and it was wonderful to see this place shining again. Can’t wait to come back!

The restaurant was packed only a few servers were available but despite that that didn’t deter great and attentive customer service!! 10/10
Atmosphere was lovely. However, I do wish I was happier with my food it wasn’t a flavorful as i hoped and the gals with me agreed but I won’t harp too hard on that due to the restaurant’s being low on staff at the time, with having only one cheif available. Customer service isn’t an easy job as is, so the fact they managed to run the place so well despite the stress of low staff and possible rude customers is worth noting! I would come again.

Stay away don’t waste your money!!! I used to love this place as kid. Now their food I horrible and customer service is even worse. I ordered a lasagna and two side salads and a half dozen of garlic rolls to go. When I got home I was missing my half dozen garlic rolls. My girlfriend and I split it. When we both bit in to it the middle was cold. The couple of garlic rolls we got we room temperature at best. When I called back to complain they told me it was cooked thoroughly. So don’t waste your money on this place unless you want sub par over priced not properly cooked food. As you can see the cheese isn’t even fully melted from the pictures but I’m supposed to believe that all the layers are cooked all the way!

I definitely like GG’s house dressing. I really enjoy the calzones & side of sausage. The eggplant is good as well. The garlic rolls are okay, they’re on the soft side. One of the photos I posted is the olive oil left over from the garlic rolls, and they do put a good amount for dipping etc. Calamari batter is light and airy. I like that GG’s tomato sause is not overly sweet. I have only gone on Sundays, the service is good, and the waitress that we always deal with is mostly on point. A good place overall. I look forward to trying the pizza and other menu items

We enjoyed a delicious meal and took advantage of the lunch special, saving us a few dollars. I am going to recommend lunch specials at this place to my bargain hunting friends for that reason. The food and service were both excellent. A busy lunch crowd was present and the party room in back was being used for an event at the time. It seemed like each person drove their own car and parked in that little lot outside. I recommend driving your oldest car here because parking was very tight, and we squeezed into a too-small-space. The decor is very dated inside with red and white vinyl table coverings that reminded us of that old time pizza chain we all visited decades ago. That said, the overall condition of the dining area was cleaner than average. Our first impression was seeing the oddly placed chairs at the entrance blocking the path most people would follow to the dining area. Instead, they want you to walk past the main counter. Our last impression was the enjoyment of meeting friends for a great meal. The reason we visited was the food, at our friend’s suggestion. What could be better? We will be back to GG’s sometime soon for more of the same.

Let me tell you I was with about 93 people after a very good friend passed away. We have not been to an excellent place like this Italian restaurant. The food was outstanding. Service was Incredible. People if you want to have a big party of friends. This is the place to have it. First time there. The next day my wife said let go out to Lunch we went back there It was so good. We returned for Lunch.

Update: my previous review was 4 months ago.. the food was delicious back then however I was treating some family here I paid $130 for 4 dishes (2) chicken Alfredo (2) chicken & shrimp Alfredo… the food was not great. It was a waste of money. I will not be back. Neither will My family.. we was not pleased. It was their first time, but it was not my first time. I’m not sure if I ordered the food too late near closing or if there’s new cooks or something, but however, food was not edible… dropped my rating from a 5 to a 2

Most food nowadays taste the same no matter where you go. I fully expected for the food here to taste like Olive Garden or any other generic Italian food but boy was I wrong. The chicken parm was amazing, authentic, zesty and just all around amazing. The garlic rolls were perfect. The service was amazing but the food is what has this place on my list of restaurants to go to every single time I’m in town. Thank you for standing out.
