We visited GG’s Bistro for some Turkish and Mediterranean food. The atmosphere was very cute and cozy both inside and on the outdoor patio. It is a nice location by the ocean and a pleasant spot for lunch or dinner.

What we enjoyed
The Iskandar Kebab and Kofte we ordered were flavorful and prepared well. The menu offers a wide variety of choices including appetizers, meze, kebabs, and more. It is also good to see that they have gluten free options.

What could be better
The customer service was too slow. We waited a long time for our drinks and when they arrived one of the champagne glasses was dirty and had a fishy smell. We also ordered dessert but the baklava was not fresh. In addition, one of the Turkish coffee cups had a lipstick mark which was very disappointing.

Overall
The food tasted very good and the location is charming. However service and cleanliness need improvement. With faster service and better attention to detail this restaurant has the potential to be a much better experience.

Was seated right away even on a busy weekend. I ordered a fresh salad with salmon and it was tasty! The service was very good, fast and efficient. It was a little on the pricier side I’d say for what I got, but I’d expect that from a more touristy area. Only complaint is that somewhere online said ocean views, and at least from what I saw- I definitely couldn’t see the ocean (buildings across the street all in the way. All in all, though, I’d recommend / come back!

Searched for Turkish coffee and found this gem at GG Bristol. It’s tucked in the shopping center, so it takes a few steps to get there, but totally worth it. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Had a great Turkish coffee and kunefe here – both were authentic and delicious! Highly recommend for anyone craving Mediterranean vibes in LA.

Very disappointing experience. The biggest problem was the quality of the food.
The “Adana kebab” was $33 and looked nothing like a real Adana. It came out shaped like a rectangular block, which already tells you it’s pre-made. Most likely frozen and simply reheated. Any Turk knows what a real Adana kebab should look and taste like, and this was nowhere close.
The rice pilaf tasted like it was at least a day or two old and reheated. The pita seemed like basic grocery store bread. Even the Turkish tea was extremely bitter and overcooked—which is surprising, because tea is one of the easiest things to get right.
To make things worse, I asked for the Wi-Fi password because my data doesn’t work in that area and I really needed internet. The server said they don’t share it with the public—even though we were customers sitting there paying premium prices for the meal.
Very disappointing overall. Definitely not authentic Turkish food. Save your money.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! As a Turk, finding food that actually tastes like home is rare, but GG’s completely nailed it. The flavors, the freshness, the way everything just felt so right—it was exactly what I’ve been craving.

The restaurant itself is super clean, and the people working there (I’m pretty sure they’re the owners) are the sweetest. They make you feel so welcome, like you’re sitting down for a meal at a family friend’s house.

And the location? Absolutely stunning. It just adds to the whole experience. But the real game-changer? They serve Turkish breakfast on Sundays. If you’ve never had Turkish breakfast before, trust me—it’s the best breakfast experience you’ll ever have. Endless little plates of deliciousness, fresh bread, cheese, olives, honey, tea… I could go on forever. I’m already dying to come back and try it.

If you love good food and good vibes, go to GG’s. You won’t regret it!

We love GG’s Bistro. We called last night with 45 minutes left until they closed. They took my order and it was ready in 20 minutes. I picked it up and it was hot and delicious. My husband loved their Pesto Shrimp Pesto. I ordered Falafel pita and my son ordered chicken pita. Yum!

Food was okay, definitley a lot of room for improvement.
The mediterenean burger was dry, with no taste. Bolognese as well.
Amazing vibe and location. Nicest staff. But food to price ratio was unfortunately off, not getting 5 stars. Chef needs to be changed.
I bet turkish kebabs or other foods are good. But they offer from Pasta to burger, to kebobs and seafood.

Lovely Turkish Breakfast for 2 to share . Service was great and food was too. I think the my definitely charge too much for a little side of yogurt the size of the palm of your hand and should tell you. It came to a $12 charge almost a whole meal and the sides were tiny.

They should definitely let you know otherwise everything else was great.

Stopped by GG’s Bistro for lunch on a Saturday and had the Sultan platter—a mix of kabobs that were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. We asked to replace the rice with salad, and they made the switch with no fuss, which we really appreciated.

Sitting outside on the patio was a great choice; the heaters kept it comfortable even with the cool ocean breeze.

The service was quick, and everything felt thoughtfully done. It’s a place that genuinely cares about the details, from the food to the experience. Would definitely come back.
