This was our first visit it definitely won’t be our last. Fun atmosphere, great martini’s, incredible burgers and fries. Burgers are never frozen and the fries are cut daily. Delicious and affordable! Sorry we didn’t take photos of the burgers, trust me, they are amazing!

The Getaway has been one of our favorite places for several years now. I recently had a surprise party there for my husband, and once again, everything was perfect. We took over the back/private dining room and had 30 guests. Linda and George (the owners) were so accommodating! We were able to get in early, before the bar even opened, to decorate. We were allowed to use the walk in cooler to refrigerate our cakes. Linda actually helped with getting my husband to the back room without any suspicion! She made sure drinks were flowing all evening and no one had to wait. George had cooked up a great variety of hot appetizers that everyone loved. I have no idea how they managed it, but when it came time, Kristina our server, took all our dinner orders at once and the food for all 30 of us came out timely, all at once and at the perfect temperature. We had everything from wraps to shrimp and ribs. I made the rounds and asked everyone how their food was, and not one person said they were disappointed. The phrase I heard over and over again was “My food was excellent!” Great food, service and atmosphere …. You get it all at the Getaway Bar N Grill!!! Thank you Linda and George!!!

It was my first time going to Getaway Bar & Grill. I came from Spooner on a Monday night (because 1/2 of the restaurants in Spooner are closed on Mondays!) and Getaway has the highest reviews of any restaurant within a 40 mile radius! The food was amazing and everyone loves Yolanda! She was the best! Ask for Yolanda you will not be disappointed with her and her amazing service!

The getaway is a great place to go and get some really great food and meet some really great people. Linda and George are awesome hosts. George does a fabulous job of cooking. They have a great menu with some specials that are above and beyond good. Weekends here can be very busy but that’s a testament to the food quality and the location. There’s Sunday pizza special is a great deal as is all their daily specials. The garlic parmesan wings are our favorite. Best in the area by far
