Get Hooked was absolutely amazing. The food was fresh and full of flavor, and you can tell quality matters here. The staff was super friendly and welcoming from start to finish. The place itself looks great, right on the water with an awesome view that just adds to the whole experience. Definitely a spot I’d recommend and will be coming back to.

Two Grouper baskets and one Grouper sandwich. The food was fresh and very tasty!! Served hot and there was so much of it that we have enough left over for dinner!!

This place nails the tasteful nautical vibe—think charming seaside, not pirate ship yard sale. Local art on the walls, friendly service, and food that made me want to salute the chef.
The grilled grouper Reuben was a masterpiece: perfect marble rye, flawless sauerkraut-to-dressing ratio, and so good another diner literally turned around to ask what it was. Fries? Golden perfection—crisp, crunchy, everything you want in life.
Tried the boom boom shrimp too—big, flavorful, and lived up to the name. Hardly any wait, lovely staff, and “Dangerous Catch” on the TVs completed the nautical magic.
I’d sail back here anytime.

When looking for good seafood locally there are many choices. Let me tell you about this Gem Of a Restaurant called Get Hooked Grill Riverside. A welcoming atmosphere when you walk in. You can be seated or choose to sit by the bar where we were greeted by Jamie our Bartender/Server. She is very warm and great at her job. I ordered the Calcutta Bloody Mary that it topped with a skewer of pepperoni, salami, cheese, peppers and a large Shrimp. All of which is fresh and just as tasty as the beverage. For appetizers we ordered the pound of fried calamari (which is not oily or greasy in any way. The breading is homemade and not overbearing) that is super fresh and mouthwatering. Also The Boom Boom Shrimp (the Largest Shrimp with a boom boom sauce that is not only spicy but tasty). Followed by The 1lb of snow crab legs that are good to the last knuckle (not drawn butter necessary as they are packed with sweet flavor). Also a lobster roll and fries. When they say lobster roll they really mean a whole sliced not diced lobster with melted butter drizzled on and on a toasted roll. Finally I capped off my meal with a cup of New England clam chowder better than any I have tasted locally. The most fresh seafood in town. They even were able to put the Giants/49ers game on after putting in a great effort to do so. Each staff member is friendly and knowledgeable. The chefs are cooking with love. This will be my new Sunday spot. I ask you all to come taste the best in the area!

A great experience for supper. My wife and I love seafood and Get Hooked delivered! Started with Lobster bisque. Richey delicious and savory. Nice side salad with the house made Italian dressing. Sautéed scallops with olive oil and garlic butter were tender, sweet and oh, so good! The seafood stuffed grouper was perfect. Savory stuffing with a filet of tender, seasoned fish. Both came with an ample portion of garlic mashed potatoes and Sautéed mixed veggies of fresh zucchini, red, green and yellow bell peppers and asparagus! Our server, Corbin was attentive and thoughtful. Took home a hefty slice of cheese cake with this mango puree. Wow! We both had a wonderful experience at Get Hooked.

Great food, we had the seafood stuffed grouper with loaded mash, a fish sandwich, and then my son’s dinner was tenders and fries.
Excellent food, great service, atmosphere was calm and relaxing.
ALSO, the portions were FANTASTIC. I’ve got at least 2 more meals from my leftovers of one entree (the sandwich which was already a lower priced item on the menu) and another meal from the seafood stuffed grouper. The kids chicken tender and fries was easily two meals for my son.

Service, what service? We went in for a late dinner last night. It wasn’t real busy at this time and found several seats to choose from at the bar. Once settled we sat a bit before the gal bartender finally got our drink order. She seemed preoccupied with what appeared customers she was familiar with. We requested menus. We waited about 25 minutes and had decided that we’d just finish our drinks and head somewhere else because the gal bartender was preoccupied with her phone, chatting with other customers, and doing a shot. Finally, a different bartender came by and took our food order. Food came, it was decent. The bar back checked on us, cleared our food, and was pleasant. We were never checked on or followed up with by the gal bartender….not once. We had to ask the bar back for our check. She finally brought it. Not a smile, thank you, nothing. It’s unfortunate. If the place had been busy, we could have understood but it seems she was more interested in her phone, drinking behind the bar, and people she knew. No one is entitled to a tip when treated with such indifference. Probably won’t be back for a long time, if ever. Maybe the establishment should promote the bar backs. They seem to care way more than that bartender.

My drink was very good but the Mahi mahi I got was either severely overcooked or microwaved or something was wrong it didn’t taste too fishy so I don’t think it was old but it was so tough I couldn’t even barely chew it or break it with my fork. This is the second time I’ve tried this place first time was sub par as well I assumed it was because they just opened and no one knew about it yet. I enjoyed my seafood but nothing else. This time after that fish I probably won’t be back. It was tougher than overcooked chicken breast! Sad because it’s very close to home and I wanted to love it! For $40 just for me I’ll go somewhere else.

Service was great, drinks were good, salade was a litte sad with package dressing, blackened scallops were tender, mixed veggies over cooked, red potatoes could have been cooked a bit longer and missing some seasoning. My husband’s stuffed grouper was tender and large serving. Was priced a bit high for the overall quality of the entrees.
