Tgere are several fish restaurants in the high desert. However, most do not provide such a comprehensive menue. Cod, catch fish, sole and more. Cole slaw, potatoe salad blackeyes peas, the list is long. Portions are generous and served hot. The seating area is very small. Maybe 10-12 persons at a time. Most, if not all the menue items are prepared in house. Price point $$ average selection price $12 – 14 USD.

This place is wonderful, the food is fresh and great tasting! The staff are very friendly and attentive as well. Get Hooked also has a bakery which is also really good! Love this place, every visit is an absolute treat. Best fried fish joint in the AV! I highly recommend this restaurant.

I saw they offered cold sandwiches from a post on Facebook. I use to go the Brass Pickle in Victorville when it was open. I was happy to find a place close to my house in Apple Valley that could fill the void. One of the few places where the photos match what you get.

Best Fish and chips I have ever had. The batter was thin and crispy and the fish tender. Great customer service. Defiantly a must try if you like seafood, I think I have had fish and chips from every restaurant in the high dessert and have lived in Portland and in the Puget Sound in Washington state and this would be far beat anything in the high dessert and could compete with any of the fish and chips I have had right on the water front. This is the first review I have ever given on anything but I was so impressed, I just had to put my 2 cents in.

This is the place to get the best fish in the high desert. The British style fish and chips are the BEST! They offer so many great items on their menu and daily specials. Whatever you order, you won’t be sorry. Prices are very reasonable.

Great place with really good food! Small, quaint fish place with a lot of heart and personality! Ordered British Fish and Chips, Grilled Shrimp, Red Beans & Rice, Fried Green Tomatoes, and Mac & Cheese. Everyone in our party enjoyed their food. Fish was crisp and moist, shrimp was perfection. Beans& Rice and Mac & Cheese were so delicious. Even the tartar Sauce tasted fresh and enhanced the fish but the malt vinegar on fries and fish were my favorite. Wish the place was bigger but that doesn’t affect the food! Customer Service was friendly and genuine. Recommended if you’re in the mood for seafood. We’ll save room for dessert next time!

I literally just finished eating my to-go plate of the British Fish and Chips and I have to say as a big fan of fish and chips this is probably the best fish and chips I’ve ever had in the high desert. Usually fresh fish is hard to find in the high desert, but this is the place to go if you want some fresh authentic British Fish and Chips. I will be frequenting this spot from now on when I get an ache for fish and chips(which is often) It is amazing and it hit the spot.. could be the best fish and chips I’ve ever had honestly. A little pricey but worth every penny!
